I think he will be as productive this season as he was in 2006.

i would love to see bowen, horry, finley, vaughn, stoudamire leave us with this 5th ring..then we will be a younger team prepared for the next decade with duncan (like jabbar did) TP, gino, ian, splitter and new faces from free agency, trades...

Regardless of what he does this year, I'll never forget '05. Screamed myself hoarse in my basement, I did.

I think this is the end for Horry, win or lose.
I would love to see him go out with his 8th, and it would be even better if he could have some impact in the win.

Horry should be this years Kevin Willis, Glenn Robinson, Tony Massenburg, Steve Smith....

Yeah, he's showed some surprising energy lately. I think he's getting ready to go out with a bang.

The Spurs get the repeat and give him his 8th ring to thank him for 05 title.

A repeat would give him an 8th ring.....which is just fine for me! :toast

Absolutely.

- kind of off topic -
My fondest memory of Horry is one of his buzzer-beaters as a Laker. Vlady Divac (was a King at the time) knocked the ball out to Horry on accident, who was all alone at the top of the arc. Swishhhh.

I think it was game 5 vs Sacramento in one of the Threepeat championship runs. I was 10-12 at the time, so my memory's foggy. :spin

I don't see why you don't keep bringing him back at the vet min until he has nothing left...

We've won championships with lesser players at the end of the bench...

Danny Ferry and Massenburg immediately come to mind.

Not only that, but it is virtually impossible for us to get Game 7 at the AT&T Center - considering that they are 7.5 games ahead of us right now plus they have the tie breaker. That would mean that we would have to go undefeated in our final ten games and they would have to lose all but one or we could go 9-1 and they would finish out the year without winning another game. :oops

If he can stay on the court for more than 2-3 game stretches then it's a possibility.

I foresee him being the difference maker in at least one big playoff game. He just has a knack for staying cool while everyone else is stressing out under pressure.

I doubt he has a moment in this years playoffs. I am one who thinks he's done. I doubt he sees the floor that much in this season's playoffs. I hope I am wrong because his clutchness might be needed.

I remember hearing in an Horry interview that the reason behind his amazing clutch shooting is that he just doesn't care if the ball goes in or not.

The thing I have been noticing lately is that he seems to care. Does that make any sense? I just have a feeling that in this year's playoffs he cares too much about going out with a bang and on top, that the magic doesn't seem there anymore.

ancestron
04-03-2008, 04:05 PM
He's caring because its the regular season. Once May is here it'll be the same old RoHo out there not givin a shit. In a good way of course.
