So whats the deal with Beno? I havent seen him in Sacramentos line up for like a week. Im assuming he is hurt or something, but have seen nothing posted here about it. Anyone have any info on this?

Doubt he's really hurt. What happened was he had a really good stretch of basketball, which all but guaranteed that he'll get a nice contract next season. Why should Beno keep pushing when he's already a lock to get that long-term contract he wanted? Looking at it from a business perspective, Beno is doing the right thing.

It's the same thing he did before the draft. He had one good day at the Chicago pre-draft camp that got people buzzing about him. Instead of risking that buzz, he just shut it down by getting "injured". He then got drafted in the first round, so the move paid off.

Beno might play a few more games but chances are he's calling it a season and looking forward to the contract that will set him for life.
