Spurs are just using GS and Houston as a warning to the rest of the league. Pop told his bench to miss all those shots until April.

But they can't stop Tim, and that is a good sign... :)

:)

And he's even tougher to stop in the Playoffs.

I'd like to see Jones take a shot but Stoudamire has other ideas. Jeez.

Deimosfobos had 746,000 on Warriors 81-100 at 15-1!

Most of the forum had a substantial bet. Lots of rich vBookies tonight!

Hornets just closed out a close win over the Magic on the road I believe too. Hornets and Jazz are the two scariest playoff teams I think for the Spurs. The Hornets more so than the Jazz.

I think the Suns are scarier than the Jazz.

The Jazz suck on the road. Either way, Friday's game will be a good heat check

^Oh shoot, How did I forget about the Suns? You're very right, I'd place them ahead of the Jazz. Suns are looking like Spurs lite, with the addition of Shaq they can now play two ways, uptempo and halfcourt.

Interesting to Note in the East: Flip has decided to rest his stars, Billups/Sheed/Hamilton didn't play tonight. However, Doc Rivers has said he's not resting his players much, doesn't want them to get rusty and Ray and Company ended up playing tonight. Which move is smarter do you think? Boston has clinched the best record in the league and homecourt throughout if they make it that far...

I go with Flip's move being smarter. But then again, the Pistons know what to expect in the playoffs, whereas the Celtics are in their first year of truly being a competitor. Granted, the big 3 for the Celts have been in the playoffs before, they aren't nearly as veteran savvy as Detroit.

If I'm Doc, I still play my starters, but with some close monitoring. I definitely wouldn't go out on all the regular season games, just play the starters enough to keep them on their toes.

Spurs are in the top 3 at opponent 3 point FG%

I'm not saying we'd sweep them, but I think we'd take them in 6.

No series will be a cakewalk.

Doc's. Flip should just try to limit their minutes. There's no sense in getting them rusty and possibly taking off some team chemistry.

Yea, but that was against a tired and average Wizards team on the 2nd night of a back to back after they'd just finished losing in an OT game the night before.

The Boston Celtics.

They can suffocate you on D, they have the size to bang and give you a physical workout, they have 3 stars who each give you different variety, they are hungry, they have a solid bench, they believe deep down inside they have what it takes, their backup pg has been labled by many here as a "Spurs killer" etc etc. :)

It depends on how Doc is using them. If he is using them in a way of burning them out and playing the last few regular season games like it is a game 7, then thats a cause for concern. If he is playing to keep a rhythm going but is being careful with their minutes and keeping them fresh for the playoffs, then it is a smart move.

Im honestly not worried about it. The Celtics are going to make so much fucking noise in the playoffs. They are for real and they have the team to beat anyone in a best of 7 series. :)

Careful with what you wish for Bostonguy. Last year there was a team having a great season, like the Celtics this year, so good they crowned their leader MVP, and they did in fact do a lot of fucking noise in the playoffs, but they were the ones being fucked

The Rockets and Warriors are perfect matchups for the Spurs since neither team has anyone who can stop Duncan and both are small ball perimeter oriented teams.

I think the Warriors expected this game to be a loss, only becuase we are 0-20 now int he ATT Center. But its a decent year when you beat the spurs twice and win the season series 2-1. I must say the spurs looked pretty unbeatable last night. Parker was amazing, Duncan looked sharp, and finley/ bowen were on fire from 3. I know a few people on here were calling the Warriors announcers biased....but jesus christ is that other guy a homer (not Sean Elliott) how many times did he purposely try and jinx warrior players from the ft line lol! And the fact that he actually refers to the spurs as the "good guys" is a bit over the top lol!

A Spurs broadcaster, calling the Spurs the good guys.

How foreign...

I realize that all announcers are homers fro their own team to an extent...but never do the Warriors announcers refer to them as the good guys...

They also have said in the past "Jason Richardson is a far more talented player than Manu Ginobili, and Ginobili goes to the all star game? HORRIBLE!"

Heard that with my own ears.

So your boys aren't exactly non partisan as well.
