Orlando Bloom wasn't around? Was he not born to play Link? I mean, The LOTR trilogy was basically him auditioning for the role of Link when the movie would be made.

I refuse to believe this. And I'm not even into Zelda crap.

Those effects looked sub-Sci-fi Channel quality. And just to be sure I checked IMDB and I couldn't find anything. Pretty sure it's a joke.

I actually went to IGN today looking to see what their April Fools Joke would be, and I was impressed by this one. It looks like a lot of hard work and money went into something that's not even real.

I don't think they actually did the work themselves, but just bought the rights to some fan video from a some college kids with too much time on their hands and used some bits to make a trailer. I found the original on youtube.

I would think Legend of Zelda would not translate well to cinema, no matter who was at the helm or no how hard they try.
