First of, Ahmad is the best NBA interviewer by FAR. it's not even close. Steven A. can't even hold his jock.

best part:
Ahmad: "I will see you... at the finals"

and Bruce Bowen is the best speaking Spur. and funny. 2 thumbs up for this interview

classic Bruce cliche: "It is what it is."

:lol

Bruce is always a cool guy. Nice interview. The question about verifying the importance of playing your best basketball at this point was stupid though.

He's for me (along with TD) the guy who personalize "being a spur".
humbleness, hardwork, winner and he's such a smartass lol

I thought it was pretty good, looked to me that Bruce doesnt really dig Ahmad ie messing with him on his non-question and the thing at the end. Also, there is a hint of why Bruce is good, it is real clear he studies his opponents tendencies so that is why he was intentionally vague.

Bruce says they need to act like they've been there before...then in this interview it's obvious he's excited and HASN'T been there before..."WOOOO, I've made it!"

lol

They didnt show the part that they showed on NBATV with Bruce screwing with Ahmad before the interview about being a football star... was pretty funny.

omg that was completely sarcastic, not real. He was just giving Ahmad crap.

It's like when some reporter told Ginobili there was a trophy for Sixth Man of the Year. He got all pretend excited and said "Really?!?!"

Remember this team's favored method of communication is sarcasm and self-effacing/self-deprecating humor. It starts with Popovich and Duncan and goes on down the line.

let me guess... Bruce is Ahmad's "main man".

"So Bruce, what was it like to touch MJ's sweaty, glistening body on the court?"

And obviously it's Dirk that Bruce thinks it the hardest to guard since he didn't name him.

Bruce: <long pause> uh, OK.

Best part:
Long pause. Bruce: "Yes. That's a question?"

Bruce would make a great coach someday. Wonder if he has any aspirations for this...
