Already have my tickets to

The Mars Volta - Austin Music Hall 4-10-08

Filter - Stubbs BBQ 4-24-08

Radiohead - The Woodlands 5-17-08

Plan on going to

311/Snoop Dogg - The Backyard, Austin Texas either 8-2-08 or 8-3-08 or both

Dave Matthews Band - The Woodlands 8-15-08

I want to try to go to the Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D show at the Frank Erwin Center but damn those tickets are expensive.

I've been to two of thier concerts before, and Slash kicks some astronomical ass.

But, I heard nothing about the concert at Stubbs.

Fuck, I would've gone in a heartbeat if I would've known.

Ive tried buying up tickets for shows to turn around and sell them but it was more of a hassle than anything. Is that show already sold out?

Maybe GNR can get back together now.

Are you going the online route Ebay/craigslist or are you going to battle it out with the rest of the scalpers. I have never tried actually going out there trying to sell tickets.

That mother fucker is one psychotic son of a bitch.

I think he'll realize that he needs Slash, Duff, and Matt more than what he thinks.

Dude, he's been working on his masterpiece of an album for well over a decade. Geffen already dumped his ass and he has to look for a new label.

They need to get back together and bring Izzy with them.

So far this summer I have seen Ministry twice, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and within the next couple of weeks I will go see Green Jelly and 311/Snoop Dog. Then I'll see The Faint in August.
I also got ridiculous tickets to the NIN concert so that will be the final highlight.

about as good as a concert with 100k people can be. I couldn't get that close because I wanted to see the Black Keys. I was 10th row at Pearl Jam last year at Lolla and I had to stand there starting at 10:30AM when the doors opened...it was sweet though- but I didn't feel like doing that again..too hot

like I said, if your broke and have no money then $10 beers are enough to keep you away from a concert you want to see. I have awesome seats tonight so I won't be crowded like at Lollapalooza. But I really like music, so concerts don't bore me no matter who they are or how much the beer is.

$10 beers at concert venues is why you buy a case and down it in the parking lot before you go in...problem solved, that's what I'm doing at Tom Petty on the 26th.

Oh how I miss the good old days. People slam beers before the concert then pass out and miss the show. :lmao I saw Tom Petty decades ago. I wanted to check out Journey but all these bands from the past are missing key members.
