actually Superunknown was probably part of that 8 BMG cds for me.

I remember the day I got STP Purple. I went to Blockbuster Music (that chain that lasted 2 years) to buy Bone Thugs and Harmony's 1999 eternal or whatever it was called, and 2Pac's All Eyez on Me. Well I went to pay for it and they wouldn't let me buy them b/c I wasn't 18, and my dad said no becuase he didn't want my mom pissed. So I thought the STP album was a Alice in Chain album (because my friend that had both kept his AIC cd in his Purple case), so I bought it. It turned out to be one of my favorite cds though

I always bought CDs and cassettes so many at a time that I can't remember the first of either. So, instead, I honored the title of the thread and went with my first actual vinyl albums.

Technically, the first one I bought was:

The first grown up albums I bought were:

Don't get me involved, plus my e-restraining order made me block all messages so I couldn't even see what was originally typed.

On a related note, their performance of "Out of Control" at Slane Castle gives me chills everytime I watch it.pVR7s-25Bio&feature=related

K-TEL!! :smokin

I think I got it for Kung Fu Fighting and You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet. It also had Rock the Boat and some song by Brownsville Station about getting drunk.

Is that one of his original albums or is it a compilation?

Also, The Sex Pistols weren't originators of punk they just made it a little more known at the time. Their creator Malcom McLaren was influenced by the scene in NYC that had The Ramones, Richard Hell and the VoiVoids, etc.

I'm almost certain it's a compilation. If it's original, it was a re-relase. I mostly bought it because the album is on red vinyl, and I'm easily swayed by colorful things.

The albums are to big to fit int the scanner and I'm too lazy to find internet pictures
The first time my parents let me go in the record store by myself, I came out with:

J Brahms--4th Symphony--Reiner conducting the Chicago Symphony

Marty Robbins--Gun Fighter Ballads

Rachmaninoff--3rd Piano Concerto--Van Cliburn with Ormandy conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra

I was in second grade and I listened to this album cover to cover hours on end. After the first week of owning the album I had every lyric memorized. I still know every word.

Blockbuster Music was having a sale of 4 CDs for $50 so for my birthday when I was 13 I came away with:

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51-KI7oWKIL._SS500_.jpg

Three out of four ain't bad. And Coolio's early work wasn't horrible.

I had a lot of records from the time I was little, but I think the first album that I bought when I was around 7 years old was probably The Bay City Rollers or Shaun Cassidy. :lmao

Later in my teen years, it was a lot of albums like this:
