Very upsetting if you're a Nuggets fan.

But am I surprised?

NO.

When the team you are a fan of has four guys who'd make the All-Gangsta first team if there was one without any question, why expect anything from them but dissapointment?

Interesting game, but to speak to the other "If the Nuggets were coached by someone other that George Karl" or whatever thread:

They're too talented to lose this much focus for too long. Among the most talented in the league, they're playing WAY beneath their potential. You don't want to the New York Knicks of the West...

Oh yah, and now the Spurs have also clinched a playoff spot officially.

...Not that Kings didn't play above their heads, because in all honesty they did. Plus they got a lot of lucky bounces and some good "bad" calls and some missed calls. But they played great defense, and capitolized on their luck. Plus the effort was overwhelming. Denver had a hard time with the zone, especially Camby.

I didn't expect Kings to win this game, but I'm damn glad they did.

We play the Warriors on Tuesday night, can I put in a good word for you?

It's fun to make some noise and have instilled some much needed confidence at the same time, going into another post season with no seeding.

The Kings are a much better team than their record indicates. Having injuries all year long to Bibby and Artest killed them.

They have a talented team and good coaching.

That said, the Nugz are underachievers...they should be competing for a top 4 seed, not their playoff lives.

Kings, despite their record, haven't been that bad at the times I've seen them this year. They've got some good young pieces and a coach they all seem to believe in. Give 'em a couple more years and they may be right back in it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Looks like Hawes and Sheldon Williams up front aren't looking too bad, it's be since forever that Kings have had a front line. Mikki has improved steadily as the year has gone on, becoming Kings most consistant player and best attitude award nominee.

There's a place in my heart for Sacramento and the surrounding suburbs (What's Up Loomis, CA?!?!?!).

Loomis is a great area, before the housing crunch one of the most up-and-coming, I think.

The arena issue isn't as bad as advertised. The truth is it's not up to par with the rest in the NBA venues, is all. It's not breaking down yet, and Stern has his hand in helping Maloof's figure out a plan for a new one.

Nice to know there are NBA fans out there who still like us! :spin

Yeah...we fly out there occasionally to hang out with my baby-mama's Daddy and we love taking the drive to Reno. He lives about a half a mile away from Ron Artest. John, (who lives a few houses down from Artest)-a relative-who's "just on the market" home (friggin mansion) price went up for 4.5 mil would be lucky now to get less than half. It's sad, really. It sucks to bolster your point.

At this point I don't think the Nuggets deserve to be in the playoffs.

How the fuck do you lose to a SAC team missing Artest, Udrih, and Brad Miller at home when your playoff life depends on you winning the game? I realize SAC is a pretty good team and have beaten a lot of quality teams......but cmon that's literally three starters out of the game for them.

The race for the 8th seed is on now between Denver and Golden State. Their game on Thursday is going to be verrrrrry important.

Golden State's remaining schedule:

Sun, Apr 6 @ New Orleans L
Tue, Apr 8 Sacramento W
Thu, Apr 10 Denver W
Sat, Apr 12 LA Clippers W
Mon, Apr 14 @ Phoenix W
Wed, Apr 16 Seattle W

Denver's remaining schedule:

Sun, Apr 6 @ Seattle W
Tue, Apr 8 @ LA Clippers W
Thu, Apr 10 @ Golden State L
Sat, Apr 12 @ Utah L
Sun, Apr 13 Houston W
Wed, Apr 16 Memphis W

Golden State I think can go 5-1 and Denver goes 4-2 and GS gets in. Though I think the other game GS could lose is to Phx but Den could also lose to Houston since they're not so great and they lost to Sac tonight.

Remember a few weeks back when the Nuggets kicked the shit out of the Sonics? Kevin Durant's quote was that the sonics specifically wanted to spoil the Nuggets playoff hopes. I haven't been too impressed with KD this year, but you're right, showing that kind of pride in what could have been a meaningless game boads well for his future.

Oh and if it's any consolation to Nug fans, I'm sure next year SI and ESPN will pick you as title contenders (again). Of course this won't actually happen, but it's nice to be foolishly hyped every year, huh? Or maybe the high expectations make things worse- I don't know? In conclusion, the Nuggets are the biggest sucks to have ever sucked.

Because Camby is a total and complete fraud. He actually stayed healthy this year, but even so. All he does for D is gamble on blocks. Most people are stupid enough to consider that good defense. In actuality it's the worst kind of defense a center could possibly play.
