you know what~~

In my opinion, i think that if the Spurs ranks the top 3 in the western conference at the end of the regular season ,. Tim is possible to be do it straight 10 years...

this is my choice for the first team this year

Chris Paul
Kobe
Lebron James
KG
TD (can Duncan as a Center???)

He will not be named to the 1st team.

Maybe the second or third but certainly not the first team

Right and you have proved to be a credible poster time and time again on this board. Just because you say that tells me Duncan will definitly be 1rst team.

Timmy won't get first team this year, KG will...unless Timmy comes in as a Center.

CP3, Kobe, Lebron obviously have 3 spots locked up.

KG should have 4th locked up. 5th should go to Timmy if they can get over the Power Forward thing.

No probably not unless he can be considered a center. no way KG?lebron don't make it as forwards (although id take TD over KG)..but it so hypocritical for Spurs fans to even worry about it because they had the all-star changed so that he (Tim) was listed as PF which to me made sense even though he plays a LOT of time at center ...but now that award season is coming up and he may miss ALL NBA 1st team ...he is a center?! Cant have it both ways ... i think he is great and should be on it Yao was hurt and no other center deserves it ...but dont make him center to keep a streak alive if so he never should of started in the All-star game and that streak should of ended this year ...

Duncan should definitely be first team. He's got better numbers than Garnett, and he's playing in the West, not the Least. Duncan scores more, rebounds more and blocks more. Garnett has a slight advantage in assists. How could anyone give it to Garnett over Duncan?

I 100% agree with you. Is KG a better player than Duncan?? Nope. Is he having a better statistical year?? Nope. Then how is he 1st team over Tim Duncan?? Duncan has Spurs sitting at the 2 seed looking at about 57 wins in the loaded as can be West. KG has had a good year playing on really the only great team in that conference.

Well, Detroit is a pretty good team...but yeah, Garnett has been facing VERY weak competition.

Dirk, KG and Webber all made the second team one year, so there doesn't have to be a center on the team if there are three deserving forwards.

It should be Paul, Bryant, James, KG & Duncan

Well, if it's mostly based on statistics, one could argue Amare or Boozer over both KG and Duncan for 1st team. Obviously, it's more than just stats. KG will probably get the other forward spot on the 1st team with LeBron.

Certainly any accusations of media bias by Spurs fans disintegrates if Duncan makes first team, because the case for him is pretty flimsy.
