Long story short is I'm trying to determine if I have a stress fracture before I begin training for the San Antonio marathon. Did the doc visit today, he said it could be a possible S/F, went to take an x-ray (came back inconclusive), so now I get to get nuked on Thursday for what they're calling a "Limited Bone Scan".
Basically they shoot me up with radioactive "tracers" (Tracers? Wait...what?), I get to wait for them to make their way through my system and then have a camera scan my leg.
Maybe next time I'll just keep my mouth shut and rest the leg...
