and I am BEYOND pumped for the playoffs to start. Getting to rewatch Tim in that series was a treat and almost worth the price of that championship box set in itself. He was seriously a monster. Seeing how happy DRob was after the game was over was great too, it made my day.

Some things I noticed after watching the 03 Finals DVDs:

-Tim's jumpshot was much more consistent back then and his shotblock timing was much better as well. To be fair though, the way he played in that series was on a level no big man has reached since idk...Hakeem.
-Manu and Tony are MUCH better now...it's scary how much better they've gotten.
-Bruce was the same then as he is now. He hasn't lost much of his speed at all which is amazing.

Oh and I would seriously recommend buying the championship DVD gift box (Best Buy should be full of them).

Well Tim was younger....

And Tony and Manu are now older..

And Manu was the game changer, stealing off RJ for a dunk. Nets never recovered.

Reminds me of how much I miss Stephen Jackson on this team

I wish the 2005 and 2007 DVD's had all the same extra footage the 2003 DVD had. I loved being able to watch all the 4th quarters of all closing games of the playoffs (Suns, Lakers, Mavs, Nets). I also wish the Spurs would make a 1999 Spurs DVD that had those extras as well...

But you know what the coolest thing about it is.. We have four commemorative DVD's to take out when ever we want and relive the great moments. It's all good my friend, it's all good.

That was the greatest game I have ever been at. Duncan's near quadruple double has to be one of the greatest performances in NBA history.

I got the box set from amazon.com. The set is the 16 wins from the 4 Championships. It retails under $100.
I assume if you're in San Antonio the local stores like Best Buy would have it.

The Championship DVD's should be available through the same places. They retail around $25. but should be less.

Thanks for the info. I actually live in Wisconsin, but will look for it on Amazon.

May hold off until they chalk up # 5 this year.

My absolute favorite day in Spurs history. I was bouncing off the freaking walls watching Robinson retire a champ.

What made you watch 2003? Was it just a random choice? Seems pretty random. Just curious.

I think everyone on the roster should have to sleep to that DVD looping all night.

Game 1 of that finals Duncan was just ridiculous in the 2nd half. Scoring at will, getting every rebound, playing insane defense, long outlet passes that resulted in points. He owned every aspect of that game 1, just amazing.

Amazon has some deals, it might be worth grabbing them.

The box set is $74.99

The '07 DVD is $21.99
The '05 DVD is $ 9.98
The '03 DVD is $11.99
They have a package with the 3 of them for $24.99

The deals are pretty good, all well under retail. And they all say they're eligible for free shipping.

Tom Tolbert with some gems in that game.

"The Spurs are in full arousal mode."

"That's what you call a stat stuffer supreme."
