...who alway feel it necessary to HATE on the Spurs!

...why the constant cussin' & negativity about the Spurs after a loss? We should appreciate what the team has brought to us, the community and skip all this negative karma. We have a chance to win the title...if we don't, so be it. We got four...there will be time for some more. (could this negativity be a result of a void in one's (your) day to day life?....chill my bruthaz & sistahz)

Let's step up the CLASS in here and not hide behind a silly negative post in the forum...

Stop living in the past, we need to do it now. We are all frustrated because we know our guys are better than what they are playing. We have a chance to win a back to back and they are blowing it.

...they can do better. TRUE.

...last time I checked they weren't handin' out blue ribbons for regular season achievements.

Real SPURS FANS know that it is how you finish (4 Championships in 9 years) and not the accolades that you pick up along the way (aka Mavs fans).

Can we see how the defending NBA Champions do in the 2008 playoffs before you snap accordingly?

Because, in the end...your anger may very well be unnecessary!

3 games with single-digit scoring quarters is a definite reason to be upset. This team isn't going to win and you can see it. We got old and really boring less than a year after winning the chmapionship.

It's also quite possible that other teams want it more than this year's bunch.

Couldn't agree more with spursluva. First of all I can't believe how quickly Spurs fans have become spoiled by our mini dynasty. It's okay to feel bad after a loss, but to call the team out in such a negative way and to call them old and boring... you all sound just like those ESPN, etc. guys with their heads up their@#$ just saying what's "in" and not really having a true sense of what this team is all about. Do you guys really think they're gonna play like this in the playoffs?! I'd bet my house on it(if I owned one) that they'll be right back to where they were last year. Whether they'll win it or not, no one knows for sure. It's real tight this year. But at least hold off on the pessimistic attitudes and name calling until it's all over. Nobody like bandwagon hoppers and that's what it seems (a lot of) Spurs fans are. I used to think "we" were better, much better than that. Better than Mavs fans, Suns fans and most of all Faker fans, but I'm starting to second guess that.
We've got THE BEST PROFESSIONAL SPORTS FRANCHISE IN NORTH AMERICA. Show some respect and intelligence, and I know it's a stretch, but maybe even some loyalty. That feels much better. I got love for you all! Say it loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap

You're frustrated cause you're a cry-baby with no spine.

The Spurs have won the vast majority of their recent games, despite the fact that they're missing two key players (Barry & Horry) and the fact that they're playing with a bullseye on their backs. Are they going to win EVERY game? No. They're not. You can't deal with that? Too bad.

They're in second place in the toughest Western Conference in history and that's not good enough for you? They're "blowing it"? Blow it out your ass.

No team needs fair-weather fans like you and all the other Chicken Littles.

This is probably the last time the Spurs will have an oppurtunity to repeat. Don't you guys understand this?

Over the last year or so the Spurs have gotten a HORRIBLE reputation by the ignorant sheep out there as a dirty thuggish team. Doesn't that piss you off when you know they are good guys?

Most people don't hate the Spurs, they just completely ignore them no matter their accomplishments. I'm sick of this.

I am pissed.

The day we tank in the playoffs and only score 10 or 11 points in a meaningful playoff game in the 4th quarter is the day people can start bitching. Until then...

Yes. This team has given this city four Championships and will very likely win another one before Tim's done. How would you like to have the Mavs or Suns as your team? What a sorry neverending nightmare that would be for you and all of us. Instead we're blessed with the Spurs organization and that means you should never knock them. What do fans expect, 82-0? I don't think so.

Sure we're all spoiled. Many of us long-time supporters remember the dark days. The period when there was no such thing as corporate knowledge or a defensive identity. Back then, we could have never envisioned one title and we've been blessed that this regime has give us four. If they never won another title, I would be happy.

Despite all the success, why are we so passionate about them winning another title? It's the same explanation that Tim gives whenever he is repeatedly asked the question of, "what is the incentive?" His answer is consistently, "because when you experienced the feeling winning a title once, you want to do it again and again. It never gets old."

I'm sure for most of us fans, we can say the same thing. We may be spoiled, but the elation and joy of being fans an NBA Championship team, that feeling never gets old either.

Last but not least, dynasties are fleeting. They do not last forever. When Duncan hangs 'em up, who knows what direction the franchise will go. Therefore, it's imperative that this squad maximizes its chances while it's near the top and while it has the big three assembled. That's why I say again, get all the titles while you can.
