I'll never forget when Sampson hit that shot. I was only 9 when that happened. I remember sitting on the couch in stunned silence, much like the entire Forum was doing.

It doesn't get any better than 80's basketball. To think that 90% of the players in today's game wouldn't cut it back then says something about where the game is now.

What a load of bs that statement is.....90%, please. I grew up on 80's b-ball and yes it was the golden age of no defense and crazy scoring. But that statement is so false it's not even funny.
