This isn't meant to turn into a stupid "Fire POP!!" thread, but more of an honest question.

i honestly think given the on and off injuries and the way the West was this year and how he needed to give the Perfect amount of rotation minutes to his aging players i would give him a
8 out of 10 so far....

but a better rating would be given after the playoffs cause thats when i really counts...

I'll rate him after the season because I don't understand his ways.

Anyone who can assemble a competent basketball team with Tony Parker and 12 senior citizens is a god in my book.

10/10.

The constant throwing in the towel lately is interesting. Just seems afraid to see any other injuries.

Here I thought you were a sensible Suns fan.

There goes that theory.

Here I thought you had a sense of humor. Probably too soon after a loss to be funny.

My bad.

I agree... the towel throwing has pissed me off lately....

but as long as he has a plan in the playoffs this won't seem that odd.

Sorry, usually Suns fans are serious when they post that stuff.

I apologize. :)

Yeah its almost like he wants to face like the Jazz.

Or hell even the Suns.

Theres got to be a method to the madness.

What sucks, is you wont find out till like July or August when Johnny Ludden hints at it in a badly needed offseason column.

Nah, I was just trying to lighten the mood. I think the Suns are collectively older than your team, anyway. :lol

Ah I see.

Eh, Im fine, I usually use baseball to distract me from the Spurs late season losses. but the cardinals lost a tough one to a horrible Giants team, so that didn't help. Eh, EA Gameshow really helps.

Like I said, I stopped letting games affect my happyness or whatever back in 05.

C+ he is also the General Manager and reach the playoffs which is good but almost obvious having TD, TP, Manu and Burce, but running the oldest team + Scola's issue make him look like and old man.

WalterBenitez

It is time to see that next 5/8 years will be around TP so start preparing that team because this one is old.

If he is purposely trying to lose games than I sayed he's doing a great job. However I will withhold any negative comment I may have until our season and playoffs are over. I do not want to say anything yet because they could just end up winning the damn thing again and I will just rate him the greatest coach ever.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I give Poop-a-vich a 2.
He's a moron for what he believes constitutes a good personnel.
Kurt Thomas? Where the fuck did this come from. If Thomas is so
damned good, why the hell isn't he still at Phoenix. He was at Phoneix
just last year, but Mike Antonie didn't see any reason to keep him so he dumped
him off on Seattle. And then Poopervich says, "Hey, we'll get Thomas
and unload Brent Barry". Brilliant. WHAT A MORON!!
Even tho Barry is back, that still doesn't do any good cuz this
bozo Thomas is spending too much time on the floor, making
one stupid mistake after another, and he can't do shit from the
foul line, and big games often come down to foul shots. But what
the heck, Duncan can't make foul shots either, so what difference
does it make..........
The stupid Spuds owners should have kept P J Carlissmo and fired
Poopervich. And he looks like shit on the sidelines without his tie.
Every coach in the league looks professional, well dressed, but
Poopervich looks like a drifter than wandered in from out behind
a trash dumpster.

Regular Season - B+
Full Season - Incomplete

Considering the injuries, I think he has done a solid job keeping the Spurs in the hunt. I think the front office has really been the factor that hurt the Spurs this year, they should have addressed their needs to replace aging veterans during this past offseason. Also, the pickup of Stoudamire has been less than mediocre and Thomas, against the good West teams, hasn't been much of a factor. There hasn't been alot of coaching related moves though that I would pinpoint as causing the Spurs demise so far...

It makes sense.

I mean, look at how well Spurs played during the 2007 playoffs; they can't be that bad.

Heck, even the "I'm worried about Robert Horry" comment from Pop may be bullshit.
I'm expecting Horry to kill a few playoff games
