CHICAGO (Ticker) - The Chicago Bulls on Thursday re-signed free agent forward Corie Blount.

Terms were not disclosed, although reports have put Blount's deal at $3.4 million over two years. A 10-year veteran, Blount, 34, is in the midst of his second stint with the Bulls, having been their 1993 first-round pick.

Last season, the 6-10 Blount averaged 3.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 50 games, almost exclusively as a reserve.

"Corie was a valuable asset," Bulls executive vice president John Paxson said. "Corie's veteran experience was helpful for our two young big men, Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler, both on and off the court."

In addition to the Bulls, Blount also has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland, Phoenix, Golden State and Philadelphia. In 582 games, he has averaged 3.5 points and 4.1 rebounds.
