On request of timvp here's a CoM member doing the work of a CoT.

To me Tony against the Kings played his best game ever as a spur.
32 pts 11 assts in a "must win" situation without Manu and with Tim in foul troubles.
And for those who say: "yeah but it was against the Kings..." let me tell you that you sucked Manu balls several times this season against the Twolves. Any game is important especially if you win by less than 3 pts.

So what do you think? was this tony best game ever?

Overtime against the Nuggets in playoffs in '05.

Besting the glove in Seattle his rookie season during the playoffs (kind of his coming out party).

Several during the run of the playoffs last season.

Tony's been VERY good for a while.

I know he's been very good for a while but i'm saying that this was his best game ever. If you don't agree tell me what's his best game in your opinion?

I didn't get to follow this game on screen and I don't like going off the boxscore, but Parker's had some great playoff games (not just last year's which was like almost every game) that were pretty cool, and probably better than this one.

I don't recall another 30/10 game.

He had a 32 and 10 game against the Bulls in the 2002-03 season. He had several other 10-15 assists games but I don't remember any of them also being 30 point games.

From his NBA.com bio ..

2005-06 - finished with a gamehigh 32 points (12-19 FG, 8-8 FT) and a season-high 13 assists at Toronto on 2/8

Last night he made 3 less points (in probably 10 less minutes) plus 11 assts and he didn't hit a game winner only 'cause he won it for us earlier.

I don't think those games were as important as this one (ye i read that the Memphis game was in the playoffs but that was a sweep and i don't remember but i don't think that it was as tight as the kings game).

Duncan was in foul trouble but he still put in 19 points last night. Along with 5 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block. Parker had a great game but he had more help last night than he did in a game where Duncan and Manu didn't play.

I'm not saying they were important either. I was just pointing out other games that were close to 30/10.

He also had 32 and 8 against Phoenix in the playoffs last year.

If you're going by importance, his performance combined with Manu's in the 05 series against Phoenix were scintillating. It might not show up as much in the stats category, but Manu and Tony blew that series apart. Tony embarrassed Nash on the defensive end horribly.

I would put the first 2 games of the finals last year ahead of last night's game...it was still a very good performance though...

He has had better statistical games, but last night he hit big shot after big shot...and when it looked as all was lost he hit a three, then stole the ball and put the Spurs back in the game. A very clutch performance.

Tony gave the ball at his right to Ime, who was open for the 3, but Ime didn't want to take the shoot and gave the ball back to Tony.

Then Tony gave the ball at his left to Michael, who was open for the 3, but Michael didn't want to take the shoot and gave the ball back to Tony.

Then Tony was "ok guys i'll take it, i am open too afterall..."

His 2OT game against GS where he went toe to toe, bucket for bucket with Baron, was his best ever.

Well, he was the only offensive player on the team. TD was in foul trouble the whole game, and even when he was on the floor, he didn't get the ball at all after the first quarter, that frustrarted and he picked up more fouls... Parker jacked up shots, and won us the game....

Putting a bookend on Rodney's career with that dunk will always be one of my favorites.
