Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Msn, whatever..........?

Or maybe you prefer to use an email client (pop3)

I used to be into hotmail but gmail seems a lot more accessible and fast, and deals better with spam, so I've made a slight transition to my new account there.

I've had AOL mail since 1999, and I'm too lazy and don't care enough to change it, especially now that it's free. :fro

Gmail only because I got a very early invite to the Beta version and I thought I was special. And it's capcity keeps going up and up the longer you have an account.

gmail. I just wish there were folders, but the labels do work well and the spam protection is top notch.

yahoo

can't believe hotmail doesn't have a "select all read" feature yet.

Do you guys use ohter gmail's features, such as the calendar, or do you use something else for that purpose (such as Outlook) ?

Brick. Because it's sturdy.

Concrete disguised in a normal looking box works better.

Show those fools with bats driving by a thing or two if you have one of those oldy type of boxes out by the road.

I rarely even use my gmail but I love yahoo although their spam filters leave a lot to be desired.

I preferred when I had an actual individual mail box in front of my house instead of the community one that is around the corner.

I've used their spreadsheets before, and I have an igoogle page. I too got a gmail invite back when you had to have in and felt special. I like the layout, but I'll cosign the above poster who said they could really use a folders feature, and fillmoe is right on about the chat feature and the way they thread ongoing emails.

I go back and forth between hotmail and gmail. I like gmail because it's so so simple and has extra features (chat, archive, folders, space, etc). But, I signed up for some crap with that e-mail a while back that gets me a spam message literally every 5 minutes with no "unsubscribe" link, so that's my only beef with it. I like hotmail because I've had it since it was just hotmail, none of that "msn" crap. Like when it was red and white in the mid 90s. It catches spam like no other, if you have the correct settings.

I can't stand yahoo. We have dsl with ATT Yahoo! and I don't ever use that e-mail.

Gmail - fast, great spam filter, so easy to use.

Why do you need folders if you have labels? They do the same job, no?

Findog - I have iGoogle too. What do you have on your page?

it would be nice to be able to hide a few emails from casual glances at work when they walk by without putting them in the spam folder. :smokin

I use Yahoo the most, but I have an email account in Hotmail and Gmail as well. I use the yahoo one for personal use and hotmail for business related. The Gmail I dont really use at all.

I still primarily use my yahoo mail. I've got gmail too but rarely use it. I just clear out my yahoo spam from time to time.

I kinda dug those mailboxes where the mailman had to get off his lazy ass and walk to your front door and drop everything in.

I host my own mail server off of a PC at home and use DDNS so I dont have to pay any hosting fee's.... no limits on space or anything, someone wants to e-mail me a fucking DVD they can (though POP3 sucks for file transfers that big).

Hotmail as my main one because I have had it since I was a teen, set it up with my webtv back in the day. I also have a @satx.rr.com one.

same here. I got a new computer today and it has windows mail so I set it up for AOL instead of downloading that AOL program or using internet explorer. I am loving my new computer! :downspin:
