Hornets have not been playing well lately. They're closing out the season losing to WC teams: Jazz, Lakers, Sacramento and now Dallas.

They're still a young inexperienced team and couldn't close out...they'll be in the thick of it next year but this year, it's Mavs vs Spurs/Suns in the 2nd round.

I think MAVS in 6 if Dirk had played well they blow the Hornets out ...granted Kidd may not shoot that well again all year ...but he brought the hustle, leadership and defense that hez known for ...
