Here's the best thing I can say about the J-Kidd trade: During the '06 season and most of the playoffs, remember how Dirk would get that "Look, There's No F------ Way We're Losing This Game!" look on his face? When he lost confidence after the Finals and then the playoffs last year, it seemed like that look was never coming back. Now? It's back. I have to admit, I'm a little intrigued to watch the Big German during these next few weeks. Nobody showed more character and grit down the stretch of the regular season

Truly a tossup. If we had HCA, I'd have to give us the edge. The Hornets snapped a 22-game losing streak to us in December. We've owned them, even in the David West-Chris Paul era.

If Kidd can just do a decent job against Paul and not let him run wild, I really like the Mavs chances. They have no one to matchup with Dirk and we have already found out their weakness, keeping the ball out of Paul's hands. and the fact is, every city that has its team in the championship game/series plans their parade route early. but i doubt they purposely released it early. im willing to bet it was some idiots on the inside that let it leak out to people with loose lips.

I don't see how releasing the parade route possibly made any difference. Your motivation is to win a title. If you need that extra incentive, you're in trouble. The parade route was simply an opportunity to rub Dallas' nose in it after the fact.

This one is hard to call. Have no idea what the Hornets will do in this series. I need to see a game first. It will be interesting to see if Dirk comes out scared this year like he has the past couple of years. I saw signs of it coming in that game vs. the hornets. If you can see fear in his eyes from the beginning, the Hornets will win.

Mavs equal ton of playoff experience and Hornets equal no playoff experience. Now if we're talking about more experience in the regular season leading to playoff success I would agree. The key is you gotta have a lot of knowledge how to play the game. Chris Paul has a ton of nba experience so he can get away with little playoff experience.

That's a cliche. Maybe the Hornets played at the same level the first half but after that they put it up a level. It's a long game so maybe not going out too much in the first half helped them out.
