I have a feeling we may see him play late in the series. If kurt and oberto get into foul trouble guarding Shaq, and duncan has to guard SHaq, Ian will come in and have to guard Amare/Shaq. I would love to see him play. Ian is an explosive player and this would give him a little experience for future.

considering he has very little experience with this spurs team, i HIGHLY doubt it.

God help us if we need to rely on Ian in hopes of getting a few calls against Shaq or Amare.

Ian will enter the court only if Spurs are beating the Suns by 45+

If he didnt play or hardly played in the regular season, I highly doubt he'll play in the playoffs...unless of coarse the Spurs destroy everyone by 20+ points a game

Is he even eligible for the playoffs? He's in the D-League and has been for most of the year.

I would think so. Not sure.

Yeah, no problems there. He's been on the Spurs roster all season, so there's absolutely no problem.

Of course you can only have 12 active players a game and it seems unlikely he'll be active for any game barring injury. The Spurs have a full 15 man roster, so likely Ian, DeMarr and Horry will be the inactives (if Horry plays MM goes to the IR).

I think we'll be fine taking care of the Suns now with what we have..... It's next year when the Suns will be a total non-factor after the Spurs rejuvenate the roster with Ian and Splitter.

we need horry man

Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't look hopeful he'll play. At least to me. I don't think we need him, but it sure would be nice if he was healthy and active...

Much as I'd like that to happen, if it were even on the radar Ian would have gotten some time with the team during the regular season. Even Pop's not crazy enough to just throw Ian out there in a playoff series and hope that he gels with the team.

Mahinmi will be a key player for tomorrow's game...

... against Sioux Falls.

It'll take an army to get Bonner off the squad!

An ARMY!

Duncan……….Thomas………..Mahinmi
Oberto………...Bonner………..Horry
Bowen………...Udoka..........Johnson
Finley…………Ginobili...........Barry
Parker…………Vaughn..........Stoudamire

With Horry questionable, at best, Ian becomes the 5th Big. In game 1, the 3 guys behind the bench in suits are probably Robert, Ian and DerMarr. Ian and DerMarr are injury protection.

I don't think he would start. I would assume KT over oberto but i do agree if he gets a shot those would probably be a fair guess of his state line with a few blocks

With Horry practicing and able to play now, Ian won't get a sniff of PT. Come on clubby, shake yourself.

If he plays in this series, it's probably because he survived the bus crash.
