They are showing game 5 of the 2004 ( I think) Spurs/ Lakers series now.

It is almost over. I am just tuning in.

And after this there are more classic match ups.

It's play off time!!!!!!!! :downspin:

I know, of all the Spurs games' they could have picked, they picked .4.

Timmy's shot was one to remember though, I saw it live from a small bedroom in the Philippines, and I was jumping when I saw it in. Then Fisher threw the shot off and the rest is history.

GO SPURS GO! I hoped they would have replayed Finals 2005.

Man!!!!!!!!!

We were so excited, and I kept saying, "The game isn't over yet. The game isn't over yet." Really hate being right about that one.

It was all the worst losing after Timmy made that great shot and seeing the guys so happy and excited.

But for me 0.4 has made all the victories after -it the 05 championship in particular- all the sweeter.

I wanted to see the Lakers/ Spurs game from 2003 when Robert Horry's shot bounced out the top of the basket.

I prayed for exactly that to happen in the commercial break right before the play occurred.

For me, it made the Pistons defeat of the Lakers even sweeter. I actually had a dream that the Pistons would beat the Lakers even before they were done with the Pacers. Crazy enough it became true.

I felt so bad for Timmy after that game. Maybe that's what hurt the most. I remember the press conference afterward and his body language.

I'd rather get kicked in the groin than to watch that game again.

The Mavs/suns game is pretty good right now but it will still get ugly for the mavs in a few minutes...

I was actually greatly encouraged by Timmy's post game comments. I had left my friend's house and so did not see it on television but heard on the radio how Timmy had said: " I believe the slogan says " Win or go home', we want to win and come home."

I really thought we were going to reclaim that series.

That year's Finals was my first time I ever rooted for the Pistons.
I was so grateful to them for winning, I think I rooted from during the next regular season too. :lol

The only fans watching that would be spurs fans. Game 5 was a classic though.
