While the Spurs look solid up and down the roster, other teams aren't[ Wolves, Suns, Denver] and likely to try and improve themselves before the trading deadline.

What players don't you want to see come to Western Division opponents?[Kidd to Dallas or Minnesota etc.]

Eddie Jones to Minnesota would scare me.

Other than Phoenix adding depth through trades of draft picks, I cant see anyone getting anything that would make me think, the Spurs would be in trouble.

No matter who each team accquires, I don't think they will be deep enough to beat the spurs in a 7 game series.

Seattle is the only team that scares me, but that's only on nights where they shoot lights out.

Eddie Jones is a Cliff Robinson clone: he's nowhere to be found when the calendar changes from the regular season to the post season. I would not be surprised if Minny did make a deal, though. They are in a horrible funk, not even a playoff team at this juncture. They could move Spree to a team looking for caproom. Phoenix has no real assets outside of their starting 5. Unless they do a draft pick and salary ballast trade, they are unlikely to move. At this point, who wants to help them, anyway?

Minn is toast.

I mean, they lose at home to Toronto, for crying out loud.

Last season, when such a late trade happened, a lot of teams said "oh shit!" when Rasheed arrived in Detroit. And the shit then happened for everybody but DET.

I don't want to see a Timberwolves trade. They're teetering on the edge of the abyss right now and a trade might put them on track. I'm sure we're all fine with Minnesota in the crapper for the rest of the year.

I'd be afraid if the Wolves got a coach that could use Wally properly.

Tyson Chandler, the Bulls third string center???

IMO if the Wolves got a coach like Eric Musselman, or a PJ Carleisimo, they would be back in front of the Spurs in the pecking order.

Minnesota's going to make a move. It's coming. They're going down the tubes and KG is only going to get pissed. Spree or Cassell will probably be gone, maybe Wally. I wonder if they could fire Flip? Would they dare?

Eric Musselman i've been pimping for a while. PJ isn't HC material.

Glen Taylor basically said not ever going to happan with the Eddie Jones deal. He also said the Heat have been pushing him really hard. When an owner shoots a deal down publically i think its a given.

Baron will be in MN long, LONG before Kidd is.

What IS the correct way to use Wally? Fact is Wally is the headstrong one. He's also been coming off the bench lately so he has been trying it both ways.

Are you talking about Zarko Cabarkapa? He was already traded to Golden State for picks.

He's also been coming off the benchProbably most of the problem right there, unless he's been injured.

if he is such terrible why can not the bulls give him away in a trade :lol

I never saw trading the young Chicago big men as a real option for the Bulls -- too difficult to determine a fair value in return since they have so much possible upside.

well if your saying, how come they cant get anything for him??

Supposedly, according to Sam Smith, the Spurs offered Radoslav for him, and got turned down.

Probably most of the problem right there, unless he's been injured.

Since Flip doesn't have enough balls to play hassell and wally starting at the 2/3, wally's the next option. Wally may be the second best scorer but his rebounding is killing us. His defense has been alot improved this year, not average yet but adequeate. I think Tony Parker averages more boards than Wally does at 6'7. If you've been watching the wolves games closely youd see that the offensive boards that really killed the wolves are usually wally's guy.
