The Timmy three was amazing, however, it showed a lot of confidence in Manu to throw that pass to Timmy, even though he doesn't shoot very many three's. Props to Manu for 'believing'. But MAJOR PROPS to Timmy today! Timmy played his heart out! GO SPURS GO!

I like how we have our clutch facilitator. To have a consistent record in keeping cool in crunch time plays.
Manu was involved in all three of those plays just because he's such a threat with the game on the line.

then to top it off we have options like Duncan, Fin, Parker, Horry, and Barry

I was listening to WOAI coming back from the game and Shoening was interviewing Brett Brown about it. Brown insisted that the play was drawn up for a Duncan 3... believe it or not, cuz I don't :lol

I actually think it was a set play. Tim just stayed out there and seemed to be waiting for the pass. But right now, Tim Duncan > Brett Brown, so who cares what Brett says? :lol

Timmy popping out to the arc only happens when the Spurs need a minimum of 3 points closing out quarters. Everyone is lifted or at the arc except for the ball-handler off the screen. It's true, Parker was open in the corner but Timmy was FEELING IT! :elephant

Duncan's reaction after nailing the 3 pointer was simply amazing.

It's the most emotion I've ever seen from Timmy. It's simply pure energy and you can feel comin' right through the t.v. screen.

It reminds me a little of David's reaction after Elliott's Memorial Day Miracle.

I don't think Manu thought Tim would take the three himself when he made the pass. It's true TP was open and Tim could have make he extra pass to him.

In fact, should have he missed, some could have blame him for not doing it.

Percentage wise, the better option was TP.

Scoop Jackson already said this morning that any of the Warriors/Mavs games from last year was better than game 1 of Spurs/Suns. No game the Spurs win will ever be considered an all time great game, and no amount of excitement will stop the Spurs from being considered boring by those who don't watch the games.
