AJ can't implement a system, he can only work with what Nellie gives him. If he ever gets the job for real, you will see changes there.

Isn't Nellie coaching tonight? I thought that AJ was starting after tonight's game.

I can see ducks sitting at home, obsessively following scores online, with a little bag of confetti to throw the moment a Mavs opponent passes 100.

The Mavs gave up 120. The Wizards gave up a season/league-high 137.

Mavs' 137 = 2+ x Spurs's 67.

WAS had a very successful swing thru TX.

Did You Know ...
The Mavericks, who had four players score at least 25 points in a game, are the third team since the NBA-ABA merger (1976-77 season) to accomplish such a feat.
Jan. '05 Mavericks (vs. Washington): Jerry Stackhouse (29), Dirk Nowitzki (28), Jason Terry (26), Michael Finley (25)
Jan. '90 Warriors (at Boston): Chris Mullin (30), Mitch Richmond (26), Terry Teagle (26), Tim Hardaway (25)
April '88 Nuggets (vs. Houston): Danny Schayes (32), Fat Lever (28), Alex English (26), Michael Adams (26)

It's 3+ not 2+

Don't feel bad. He also does that anytime LeBron has a turnover.

On my abacus, Spurs' 67 x 2 = 134

Spurs 134 "+" (crumbs) = DAL's 137.

For most of us, a mathematical expression with consecutive operators, "+ x", is obviously invalid, so what else could I have meant with my shorthand pseudo-expression? how about:

DAL's 137 is (more than 2x) Spurs' 67

Your insistence on mathematical precision (where none was intended) is exemplary.

they still did not give up 80 points in one half like the mavs

Well, if I get nit picked for a coma, then I can nit pick a formula that is wrong.
When you write out a formula you are implying the intention of having "mathematical precision". I would also substitute accuracy for the term precision. :lol

Just to clear things up. AJ did not coach against Washington, Nellie did. AJ will coach the NEXT 20 games.

"nit picked for a coma"

it's either "nitpick" or "nit-pick", so you get nitpicked for a space.

"write out a formula"

which is obviously invalid, but let's not over-nitpick, because you'd have no substance left.

Dallas played the Wizards' game and beat them by doing so.

You're bound to give up a lot of points when your offensive posessions last 5 seconds a piece. Did you watch the game? Every posession for the Mavs was a fast break, practically.

Washington only shot 42%... below their season average.
