Manny is already looking like the early favorite to winning the MVP this year. Nobody has an answer for him yet and you can not put the ball any where near the strike zone or he will hammer it. All this with Mike Lowell, his protection, on disabled list. Once Lowell gets back in lineup to offer some protection, then his numbers will be ARod like.........Big Papi is starting to wake up too.

My powers amaze me...I need to harness them somehow and use them only to benefit me, not hinder my own teams.

After I made this thread, Manny went almost 2 wks without a HR and had only 2 RBIs.

Id say right now Manny isnt even top 3 in the MVP race. Right now I would say its (in no particular order) Chipper Jones, Chase Utley, Lance Berkman. They are top 5 in AVG. HR, and RBI (except Utley at number 9)
