Game 2 tomarrow. How will the Spurs start the game? Will it be another grind out game? Someone gets blown out? Who gets hot?

I can't wait..

I have officially decided to skip class on Tuesday so I can watch this...

Some predictions:

Shaq will have 2 fouls or less going into halftime, 3 or less going into the 4th
Timmy will not have a 40 point game, just his average 15-20 points on 40% shooting
Manu or Parker will really have to step up
No Overtimes

I'm not going to predict the outcome as it won't be very popular :D

If anything Snaq Food might be at an advantage if the refs play into his whining over the "floppers" comment.

Suns win Game 2.

That's the only prediction I'm going to make at the moment.

I'm pretty sure the game tape was reviewed by the refs...some of those early foul calls were indeed flops. I think more calls will go in Shaq's favor this next game.

It's odd, the Suns/Spurs and Laker/Nugget games were called pretty close, in most of the other series you can smack each other around and get no calls. The Cavs/Wizards game was extremely aggressive with no calls.

I say the spurs will start out with a ten point lead but that will be down to 2 or 3 by half time. The suns will take the lead for most of the 3rd then the spurs will come back in the 4th and win by 5. spurs 99 suns 94

Refs put Tim Duncan in foul trouble early on to even out the series.

Hopefully the Spurs come out swinging (making shots) and can pull away early in the fourth.

The Spurs are going to eat the Suns alive tomorrow. No blowouts though. Book it.

Suns by double digits!

If you look at history its easy to predict that Shaq will not be in foul trouble due to ref tendencies. If the Spurs want to win they are gonna need a big game from someone not in the BIG 3.

Suns win 110-102

Leading Scorer: Amare Stoudemire
Leading Rebounder: Grant Hill
Leading Passer: Steve Nash

For Suns

Suns are gonna force Spurs to shoot jumpshots and clog the lane to stop the penetrations (to no avail because our three point shooting will be lights out w/ Bowen, Fin, and one Barry three)
Suns will not be in foul trouble like last game
They'll continue to exploit our defensive matchup by using Diaw's offense in addition to Amare, with Grant Hill negated by injury they'll still get all around balanced contributions from the team, run by a hungry determined Steve Nash
Shaq will play the same as last game.

Manu will miraculously recover from his groin injury and get his legs back, and post 48 points off 10 threes (2 360 dunks)
Duncan will post a solid hard-earned, (yet unnoticeable this time) 30 points and 18 rebounds (5 three pointers)
Parker 25 (all layups)
Spurs bench will play a smarter, calmer confident offense like they did in the second half (shooting a reasonable 48 percent)

Spurs 135
Suns 55 (Nash with the last 15 desperation points in the fourth quarter)

But game 2 will still be more exciting than the boxscore suggests

That's allsome.

More predictions:
- 1 busted lip for Oberto
- 2 Shaq bellyflops into the stands
- 3 unopened Dasani water bottles during the D'Antoni post-game press conference

The ''dirty floppers'' will win this one.

Better ball movement and defense from the Spurs. Dantony forced to double Duncan so more 3's from the wings.

The Spurs laid their game 1 round 1 egg. Game 2, they will be much sharper and more efficient, less turnovers. Win, not a blowout, but will be in control.

Tim Duncan will throw a block party.

Shaq will get T'd up for smacking Ginobili - "NOW you have a reason to flop"

Oberto will lead the Spurs in scoring in the 1st qtr.

Manu will move next to Shaq and suddenly flop just to piss him off.

Parker will attempt a dunk and fail, like he did in the preseason 2006

Duncan will put up his average 26-14-4-3 against Shaq in the playoffs and Shaq will end up defending Duncan on one or two fourth quarter misses and bobbyjoe and Dazed and Confused come out of their closets.

blowout for the suns, at least 15 points. they go up like they did game 1 but don't get rattled this go around and we don't have nearly as good shooting (tony, i think, fades).

If anything Snaq Food might be at an advantage if the refs play into his whining over the "floppers" comment.

Then again, it could backfire in his face. The refs might take it as a slap at them.

See, comments like he made can have 2 different sets of consequences.

Shaq could be on the bench in the first couple of minutes after tipoff.

I have no freakin clue what will happen. Like LJ, I'm hoping they'll ride the emotional steam-train of game 1 straight over the Suns in game 2 ala Lakers Gm 2, 2003.

I woke up with this score in my head. 104-98 Spurs. I think it will be a grinder with some hot shooting early for both teams, and then a foulfest in the second half. Free throw shooting will be huge.

My heart wants the Spurs to win.........

but I have a feeling the refs will get our big guys in foul trouble and allow Shaq to dominate.

Suns win this one by 6-10pts. :depressed
