A heisman trophy winner - he would survive for sure. Probably a bust in the NFL but a survivor none the less.

There have been a lot of basketball players choose football. Like Gonzalez and Peppers, but Ward is the only one I can think of that went the other way. I guess he knew he would go Andre Ware on everyone.

It's easily Allen Iverson at quarterback.

Maybe for the other team. A linebacker would put a hand on him at the hashmark, and he'd fling himself all the way out of bounds, into the Gatorade.

Carmelo - running back

Nobody could catch him when he'd start running.

Shaq - center

Waaay too tall, and not heavy enough. He would lose out most of the time.

Yeah, that's right, I said Shaq didn't weigh enough.

Dwight Howard could probably have made it in the NFL. A tight end, IMO. He's athletic enough, his size is perfect as most TEs today are 6'5'-6'7' - 250-260 minimum, his hands are probably good enough, and he can run. Some of these suggestions, though, are ridiculous. Steve Nash as a running back? Too small, too white, not nearly enough power. He'd get killed.

Str8Ballin
04-22-2008, 01:22 PM
Shaq would be a good defensive tackle, or maybe even a fullback. I can see Shaq in a football uniform easily.

What's the name of that fat scrub center on the celtics team? He could easily play in the NFL.

In the 90's there were always rumors that Karl Malone was going to be at Cowboys training camp to try out as a TE.

Yao Ming as QB when less than a yard is needed. He could just take the snap and lean over with the ball.

How did this thing gets to page 3 with no mention of Craig Smith?

Dude is 6'7 270 and JACKED! He's either a defensive end or a running back in the "Brandon Jacobs" mold.
