Tim Duncan
Though the Spurs didn’t need Duncan to score in their blowout win over the Washington Wizards, it’s mildly alarming that he finished with a season-low 11 points. Duncan has struggled offensive over the last few weeks, averaging just 19.4 points per game on 47.6% shooting over his last 10 contests. It’ll be great to see him just bust out with a few monster games.

JANUARY: 83.1
SEASON: 86.4

Bruce Bowen
Bowen did his job versus Washington. Although he had a tough time shooting the ball (3-for-9 from the field), he did a great job on Antawn Jamison. Jamison scored only six points and was 2-for-8 from the field. His defensive intensity out of the gate really helped set the tone for the win.
GRADE: 86
JANUARY: 86.6
SEASON: 85.2

Rasho Nesterovic
Welcome back, Rasho. After a number of weeks where he played sub par basketball, Nesterovic had one of his better games of the season. He finished with eight points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, while shooting 4-for-6 from the field. Nesterovic might finally be turning it around, as he’s averaging 5.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game on 50.0% shooting from the field over his last five contests.
GRADE: 96
JANUARY: 85.7
SEASON: 83.3

Brent Barry
With Manu Ginobili out with a thigh contusion that he suffered against Houston, Barry stepped in and played admirably. He scored a season-high 17 points, while finishing 6-for-8 from the field and hitting all five of his three-point attempts. Barry also chipped in with four rebounds and two assists in his 29 minutes of playing time. If he can keep this type of play when Ginobili returns, the Spurs will have one of the best bench weapons in the league.
GRADE: 93
JANUARY: 84.7
SEASON: 82.7

Tony Parker
Parker keeps putting up big numbers. In one of the more well-rounded games of his career, Parker totaled 23 points, dished out eight assists and pulled down seven rebounds in 34 minutes of action. He also hit 10-for-15 shots from the field, bumping his season field goal percentage up to 49.3%. With the All-Star game around the corner, Parker is making a late push for a spot on the Western Conference squad.
GRADE: 97
JANUARY: 86.6
SEASON: 86.4

Devin Brown
With the extra time allotted due to Ginobili’s injury, Brown took advantage in a big way. He tied his career-high with 24 points, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor, 4-for-6 from downtown and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. When Ginobili gets back on the court, Brown’s time is going to be limited again. He’s going to have to figure out a way to be effective in short bursts off the bench.
GRADE: 93
JANUARY: 82.2
SEASON: 84.2

Robert Horry
Horry had four points and three assists in 18 minutes off the bench. His passing was very good, but his rebounding was again unacceptable. He only had one rebound and was beat on the boards multiple times. If he can’t rebound on a consistent basis, the Spurs can’t afford to use him as their first bigman off the bench.
GRADE: 83
JANUARY: 85.6
SEASON: 85.3

Tony Massenburg
It appears that Massenburg has moved past Rose on the depth chart. He’s played eight or more minutes in his last four games. Against the Wizards, Massenburg played 13 minutes. In that time, he had four points, one rebound and a blocked shot.
GRADE: 83
JANUARY: 86
SEASON: 84.5

Beno Udrih
Udrih played 12 uneventful minutes versus Washington. He did a good job on defense, but he was uncharacteristically quiet on offense. He had only three points, hitting his only three-point attempt. His assists have been done lately, dishing out only two in his last three games.
GRADE: 83
JANUARY: 84.7
SEASON: 84.5

Malik Rose
Rose played ten scoreless minutes as the third bigman in the rotation. He did manage to pull down three rebounds and hand out an assist, but it looks like minutes are going to be few and far between. Rose appears to be back in the doghouse.
GRADE: 83
JANUARY: 79.8
SEASON: 84.2

Mike Wilks
Wilks had two assists and one rebound in his ten minutes of action. He did a solid job of running the offense, but was hurt some by the full court press that the Wizards used in the fourth quarter.
