I like how he allowed a very physical game, especially when tons of rain was involved. The linesmen were pretty much flawless in those crucial decisions. Although I'm pretty certain Hyppia was fouled by Drogba inside the box.

Yeah, very dangerous play by Drogba. Though Liverpool has been the beneficiary of generous penalty calls/non-calls in the past few weeks, I guess it evened out. Probably didn't help that Benitez called out the referee before the game :lol.

It should have been a penalty forsure. But they missed the Drogba one earlier. Evens out for giving Liverpool that goal for the ball that never crossed in 2005.

But it was a great game. The extra time was exciting as hell.
