Hey guys good win you guys own us in the playoffs plain and simple, if you guys advance to the finals I will be pulling for you to win it. You have one great player in Duncan he has such a smart basketball iq and is a great scorer and team leader. I really hope the suns win a few games to make this a series but you guys have such a mental edge over us it doesn't matter, we had our chance to win by taking game 1 which was ours but blew it. Good job spurs you are a great team gl the rest of the series and playoffs

The series isn't over. Look at 04' Spurs went up 2-0 against the Lakers. Lakers took two on their homecourt. Game 5 was .4 and Lakers finished us in 6. Series hasn't started til a team wins an away game.

i love fans that stay humble, and recognize things as they are , not as they appear. thanks and don't worry phx is still a good team, spurs just own them the past few years, tough luck imo.

I expect a physical game with tremendous emotional boost from the Suns fans in Game 3.

I met this cool Suns fan today in Fridays and was telling him the same thing. We held homecourt. But unless we can take one of two in PHX we are back to square 1. Pretty convincing victory though to say the least.

Nice to be cordial to the Suns fans, but that was a different series. If the Spurs are smart, they're going to not take game 3 for granted.

The main problem for the Suns is that they can't get stops. Ginobli and Parker are getting very high percentage shots whenever they want. Until that changes the Suns have ZERO chance of winning this series.
This is a time where Grant Hill would have proven himself valuable if healthy. I think he is quick enough to bother Parker and make life difficult for him. On offense, he is another weapon that PHX needs when SAS counters the P&R. If he was healthy PHX would have a much better chance in this series. Unfortunately for them he's not and it doesn't look like he will be for the rest of the series. I said before Game 2 they should just rest Hill until Friday, looks like I was right.

04 Lakers > 08 Suns
I disgree with that. That Laker team wasn't that good (we beat a BETTER Pistons that they lost to 4-0 following year in the Finals). In fact we were better, and favored to win that series. The problem was that we thought we had the series won and we became comfortable. We let the Lakers get back into it.
But, that was back then. We were young and relatively inexperienced compared to LA.
Now, we are too experienced, too good, and too hungry to finally get that repeat to let the Suns get back into it. We know what it takes to close out a series when up 2-0. Mental slippage is something I don't expect this time around. And, I just sense A "kick them while they're down" attitude I never saw in any of those prior teams.
Spurs in five.
I feel like the Suns had to get one is SA to win the series.

If we lose game 3 we'd be under a huge amount of pressure to win game 4. We don't want to come back to SA with the series tied.

For Christ sake, you're down 2-0 on the Spurs home court. This series is not over. Throwing up the white flag already. :rolleyes Whatever. Lets get all of these series over so the 14 time NBA champs can show you how to do it. Pitiful!

I can't picture Lamar Odom ever winning a championship. Until he's off that team they will continue to accomplish nothing with that team in the playoffs.

This is a time where Grant Hill would have proven himself valuable if healthy.
In hindsight, was it wise to sign an oft-injured Hill and have him in such a critical role for their team? I say no.

Would it have been wiser for him to sign with the Spurs where his minutes would've been managed better and he would be healthy now?
I'd say yes.

Suns are a great team and I'm never going to count them out. They've got a champioship caliber team.
They're the second best team in the West behind us IMO.
They're more than capable of coming back and beating the Spurs.

I'm past all that. We just need to play well and close them out then pray they don't flop against the Hornets crap.
It's crazy, Phoenix had been playing just great. Even in beating us that last time it was on for them. We have beat that, then turn around and break some fricking noobs in like on Spurstalk. What a mess.

The Suns are going to win this series. I have no doubt about this. Neither team can beat New Orleans anyway.

In a nutshell, D'Antoni sucks.
There is a reason why the last 9 or so championships have all been won by Phil Jackson, Pop, Riley, and Brown.
