I don't know how close these are to you but when I worked in the ghetto off W. Commerce and Callaghan we used to go to Asian Kitchen (decent Thai food) and Lily's Bakery (Filipino) off Marbach or we used to head down to all the chains off 151/410.

If you have an hour get onto durango and head over to King Willaim. Plenty of GREAT restaurants in that area.
