If you think your mom, (or some other mom you know) should win this, can you please enter them into this contest?

Thanks!

Do you know America’s Most Extreme Mom?

April 18 – May 7, 2008

Are you the most extreme mom in America? Do you know a mom who is? Nominate your mom, your friend…or yourself by entering SheKnows “Most Extreme Mom” contest.

All you need to do is submit a photo and a short 300 word essay describing why you or your nominee mom is extreme. Does she have multiples? Juggle an extreme job while raising children? Have a miracle baby? Has she overcome extreme parenting obstacles? We want to hear her story.

SK will select five finalists from all entries on April 27th and post their entries on the site. Then readers will vote to determine who among these will take first, second and third place. The winner will receive the title of “Most Extreme Mom” and a $500 Spa Wish gift card. The second place winner will receive a $250 Spa Wish gift card and the third place winner will receive a $100 Spa Wish card.

All entries will be moderated before they appear on the contest page.

- Submissions accepted from April 18th, 2008 to April 27th, 2008
- Voting from April 28, 2008 to May 7, 2008
- Winner announced on Mother’s Day: May 11, 2008

I didn't write it, but "multiples" refers to twins, triplets, etc.

My mother rebuilt our house in Washington after a house fire.

But that was about 12 years ago, so I'm not sure she'd be eligible.

Still pretty amazing.

I assume only SA mothers are eligible?

I'd wager that Peewee isn't going to nominate his baby mama.

My mother should win hands down for being one of the most genuinely good people you have ever met.

I honestly tear up at the idea of the many wonderful things shes done for me, friends, other family.

Im a horrible writer, can't type worth a damn, and would be crap at this contest.

Sorry to take up bandwidth with this drivel, i just wish I was more eloquent typing wise, to just illustrate how great she is.

Peace.

If having intelligent, good looking children is what counts, duncan228 wins hands down.

I would have put my mom, but then again there are many women like her who would do anything to help their children out and others out who aren't their children. I love my mommy. I am sure most ladies here who are mothers deserve those Spa Wish gift cards. Being a mom is a lot of work and it never ends.

MY wife will soon be a mom and I know she'll do great. Big props to all the moms in here.
