Spurs do their usual I see. They play one game with determined effort and the next game, usually always a WEAK team too, they come out flat and STRUGGLE. Yep, that'd be the Spurs STRUGGLING against the CLIPPERS. The Jazz, the Nuggets, the Clippers...pretty much any of the SHITTIEST teams can take control of the more than OVERRATED Spurs. Why? Because the Spurs are INCONSISTENT, OVERCONFIDENT and OVERRATED. LMAO...they're LOSING (albeit by ONE point) to the CLIPPERS...the goddamned CLIPPERS...at half time and they've been STRUGGLING against them the whole game. It is VERY possible the Spurs are going to BLOW another game to another VERY crappy weak team. What does that really say about the Spurs other than they are really just crap at the core themselves.

Bruce Bowen played a great 1st half. He really worked hard on the boards, on defense and running the wings. The other guys had their lapses, particularly on their intensity and form on their shots.

I don't think Duncan is the problem. He will have off periods, but overall the guy is Mr. Consistent. It's the team as a whole that seems to screw up way more than they should. Especially when it comes to playing teams perceived as "easy". They always give a less than strong effort and it shows, like tonight. Tim needs to work on his free throws and getting the rest of the team on the same page night in AND night out.

Well, seeing how the Spurs managed to lose a 10 pt lead in about 2 minutes (a la Houston game 1), and the Spurs were up only by one, Brand could have made that shot, or some other Clipper could have, and they would have won---a close, yet lucky game. Lucky that Tony made that last shot and lucky that Elton missed that last shot. Has nothing to do with Duncan.
