Is Jay Z there?

I doubt it. Lebron should bring Vanilla Ice to sit courtside- that would be funny.

btw 'Deshawn's a bitch' thing under your name is wrong. It should read 'Deshawn is a bitch' since there is no possession in Deshawn being a bitch.

Not important, just helping a fellow Cav fan out

Well, Washington got emasculated in the first two games, so you've gotta figure they're going to come out with a ton of energy tonight. Their best hope is to get up by 15-20 early, because the Cavaliers really aren't built to come from way behind. If it's a toss-up game in the fourth quarter, that's going to be a seriously nervous building, and I'll love our chances in that case.

They should put Arenas in a suit and a nice comfy sideline chair if the Wiz want to have a chance. He's a great player, but he hasn't played all season. He's a liability at this point, having not had the necessary time to gell with teammates before the playoffs. I know this will not happen since he is their star and all, but the Wizards just look like the walking dead out there these first 2 games against LeBron, I mean Cleveland, and the they were playing much better basketball than this a month ago without secret agent man.

This is why the Cavs need another 20ppg+ scoring option to be a contender.

Z should be the third option but he's the second and when his shots aren't falling hard for team to score.

We're getting a preview of how badly the Cavs will get beaten when they face the Celts in the second round.

This game is bad, but I think the Cavs will bounce back in game 4. I think the Wiz would have been better off winning a close game 'cuz the Cavs will be more focused after the thrashing they suffered tonite.

The Celts will be better served to close out the Hawks quickly. If the Wiz tie up this series this could go 6-7 games. The Celts could be resting while the Cavs/Wiz are still playing.

I disagree. Is LeBron going to outscore Garnett,Pierce,Allen all by himself? LeBron will still get his points but the Celtics defense will make him work for it and the other Cavs players will be kept in check. Who is else is going to score for them? Ben Wallace? Wally can score but he can't guard a chair if his life depended on it. Celtics in 6

Both teams played Boston tough during the regular season. The Wizards 3-1 record was awesome, and I believe the more likely to beat the Celts.

Bron has no where enough help. Not against the big 3. The Wizards have a more balanced attack with more weapons.

I always gave that argument against the Cavs for many years, but after seeing them push the Pistons to 7 games and beating them last year I cannot buy that anymore. Cleveland is a greater threat because LeBron can take over a series.

Yeah but that Cavs team was better then this current team. Gooden was a bonehead and prone to being a defensive liabillity but the Pistons still had to respect his offense as well as Zydrunas thereby opening the floor for LeBron. The Cavs fans despised Hughes but his defense is missed. Plus LeBron outweighed Prince and Hamilton by like 100 pounds. The matchup between him and Pierce is even hell those two will cancel each other out.

And I suppose that Detroit doing what they always do exhaling after a 2-0 lead had nothing to do with it? All I am saying is all things being equal if Boston does not mess around they should beat Cavs in 6. Don't get me wrong you have to respect them because of James but he is not enough.

Using last years Pistons is a poor gauge.

No other team takes quarters, halves and yes, even games off like the Pistons. They don't play with their full effort. Their mental approach is among the worst in the league.

As evident in the first 2 games of the Sixers series...

I don't think we'll see the same lapses in effort against the Celts, as we did vs the Cavs.

I think a lot of our problems come down to respect. The players didn't really believe that the Lebrons could beat them. They didn't respect them.

They do however respect this Boston team.

Playing in a weak Eastern conference, and being the only real quality team for a while...beating who they wanted when they wanted has made these guys have a superiority complex. They think they can just show up and win. I wish they played in the West so that they would always have to bring an A game. Always compete. And not have things given to them so much.

I do think fatigue was an issue that year .... the only year I'll use that excuse for... and it was largely our fault for allowing the semifinals go to a 7 game series vs the Cavs.

But there's no doubt Wade took a big bite out of our ass in that series.

I agree with that somewhat. Thats why closing series out is important. I don't know if the outcome would have been different but imagine if Detroit had close out the Cavs in 4 or 5 in 2006. How would that have helped them in the ECF?

Washington didn't even play that well in the first half and they were still up 16. That's where they won it. The Cavaliers will play better basketball in Game Four. They can't play worse.

I still think it would have been a tough series ... may still have lost.

But we just didn't have the legs for it. I think we shot under 40% for the series while allowing the Heat over 50%.

And we weren't a very deep team, so that didn't help either. Tony Delk, Hunter, Dale Davis and Dice was pretty much all we could muster off the bench. A quicker series ending vs the Cavs would have afforded us some much needed rest.

I hate that we lost to the Heat ... because I dislike Wade, Shaq and Riley ... along with the fanbase. But I acknowledge that they were a good team. I hate that we lost to the Cavs because I don't beleive they were close to being the better team.

I agree with you on Cleveland but Detroit did not help themselves. Billups struggle in that series. Prince and Hamilton could not contain LeBron. And of course Sheed having a meltdown in Game 6 when the game was still in reach did not help. It will be interesting to see this time around if Sheed controls himself or if he loses it over how the game is being called.

Yeah. I saw the box score and saw how many points and minutes he had and I thought to myself, yeah that "injury" makes alot of sense. But to his defense, it is really hard to shoot and dribble the ball for that matter with a wrist injury. I'm not sure which hand it is, but if it's his shooting hand I can feel his pain if it's not at the very least 90% healed. It affects your shot like you wouldn't imagine. You can bend it fine with nothing in your hand. But as soon as you put something of any weight there and try to push off it hurts like you wouldn't believe.

He might be injured but he will help his team out by parking himself on the bench. Like another poster said the Wiz looked liked the walking dead in the first 2 games with Arenas. Arenas should just call it quits and come back next season. That way he has an entire season to gell with them.

It's almost like Jamison and Butler's games are completely thrown off because they are not looking for their shot as much because they are taking a backseat to Gil. Over the first two games they looked totally uncomfortable with Arenas out there. But I agree. Tonights score was just ridiculous. Well that and LBJ fueled the fire with his Jay-Z/Soldierboy comments.

And you need Butler to give you points. He is a good defender but he needs to score as well to offset LeBron's offense.

Butler kinda still gets his when Gil is playing. When I manage to catch a game it looks like Jamison' scoring is the one that suffers the most when Gil is taking shots from damn near mid-court.
