So I have a feeling this will be the hardest game for us to win. Houston will play really well but I think we take control in the 4th and win in a typical Houston/Utah score...105-96.

Yep. The only way I saw them winning was to build about a 15 point lead and hang on for dear life before Utah went on a big run.

Now they kept the crowd in the game.

T-Mac's gonna have to be a lot better than he was in the fourth quarters of games one and two when he scored a single point in both games combined. He's gonna have to blow up like he did back in their November win over the Jazz if they pull this one out.

Forget the block, what about the save of the ball going out of bounds?

That too.

T Mac will get the interview, but it should be Landry getting it.

Jazz in 6.

Houston will win game 5, series over in 6.

They are gonna win 2 more than I thought they would.

Why what happened?

He went to the line for 2 with .2 left on the clock. Ideally you'd hit the first one to give your team an extra point on the lead, and brick the second and the game would be over before anyone could call time out. He did just the opposite; missed the first, drained the second. Left the door open just a crack.

Why did Adleman leave injured Battier on the floor?
What a dumb ass.

Retarded offensive foul by TMac on AK-47.

Great block by Landry to bail the above playoff chokers.

Uh, no. He pretty much blew off all responsibility until like the 3 minute mark, watch the tape. He lagged on D, walked up the court and only broke away from his defender at....yes.....the 3 minute mark. He was lucky to connect at the right time.

Wasn't it you that said he had the ugliest 27 point night in PO history?

At least this win will make me sleep easier. If they lost I would probably have gone to sleep pretending to punch Kirilenko's face to a pulp. Hell, I still might think about that before I go to bed.

Great win Rockets!

Carl Landry needs to keep playing like this. He looked like the Carl Landry from earlier in the season.

By the way, anyone see Kirilenko try to flop in the last second? Hilarious.

Not being blind, I saw him step up. He grabbed a couple of important boards and passed out a double team to a cutting Scola, got a couple of fouls at the right time. But really, he wasn't even hustling before the 3:00 minute mark, just mailed it in until it counted. Maybe he only has a little in the tank and was conserving.

Tracy's block on Kirilikenko was the biggest play of the game next to the Landry block. That ignited the run that got Houston just enough space to survive despite basically choking late...

Not true. He didn't start scoring until that time. He was still playing within the offense and getting others involved. I remember a dime to Scola at around the 7 minute mark.

The agony must unbearable; the pain just excruciating; the heartache just un-called for. As soon as you lame Rockets fans think your team will lay down and put you out of your misery, they show signs of life, just enough to carry you on with false hope of maybe advancing to the next round. Your a fool if you want the Jazz instead.

The playoffs are a different ball game... its a lot easier to zone in and fully prepare for a team and take away their strengths in a playoff series... the Jazz are a much better ball club than the Rockets without Yao, regardless of how u match up.

I still think the Lakers beat the Jazz in 6.... but i think you would get the Rockets in 4 or maybe 5.

ANyway the Jazz are going through and it will be a tougher series than you think.

Nah, you just have to look at the matchups closely. It's a game of matchups and the Jazz matchup very well against the other 6 West Playoff teams but poorly against the Lakers.

The Rockets have the Anti-Kobe in Battier. And the Lakers can't stop T-Mac. Dikembe's size bothers Pau. Scola and Landry are feisty rebounders which the Lakers have problems with. Rockets taking on the Lakers would be a 6-7 game series.

Utah on the other hand have no answer for Kobe, Pau will run circles around Okur and Lamar will contain Boozer. D-Will will get his but that's a good thing because if he's busy scoring on Fisher, he won't be passing out to his teammates.

Lakers will easily dispatch the Jazz, the Rockets would be difficult.

Well that game sucked big time. That was the worst game of the 3 we've played. I felt the entire arena was too overconfident. The team, the media, and the fans all felt like this was gonna be a sweep. The players may have been saying the right things but by their body language I could tell they figured Houston was going to mail it in.

All the credit goes to Houston though. They wanted the game more than we did. I can't believe we missed 13 free throws, ran our offense like crap, had no urgency to go after loose balls, and still only lost the game by 2. It was by far the worst game we've played in this series and we still could've won it at the end.

One of the post game radio guys said it best...he said we looked like we had boxing gloves on the entire game. We couldn't hold onto anything. Something is seriously wrong with Boozer. He's been average at best over the past couple months. Memo looked like a lazy idiot last night as well. He was pathetic.

I should've known though that we wouldn't make this easy. It's been our calling card the entire season. We find ways to screw up the best possible senarios and then have to dig ourselves out of trouble. Instead of getting 4-5 days rest, now we have to battle through a 6 game series.

This is the first time I've left a Jazz game dissapointed. Don't see too many L's in the ESA. Anyway...props to Rafer Alston, Scola, and Carl Landry. They took it to us and we didn't respond. I thought Rafer was the key for Houston. He set the tone early by hitting his shots and the rest of the Rockets responded. TMac is still a joke and one of the most unintellegent basketball players I've ever seen. He's one of the most talented players in the league, but his basketball knowledge is pathetic. If he had 50% of the basketball intellegence Kobe has, he'd be unstoppable.
