For people trying to use the chat room:

Make sure you are at http://www.spurstalk.com and not just http://spurstalk.com. You won't be able to get in without the www.

This will eventually be fixed but not for tonight.

Did you make sure to do the WWW. before? It sounds silly, but check out Duncan228's post from a little earlier...

I have firefox.

Do you have java on your computer?
If not, you can download it for free, and it doesn't take all that long.
