Who's now worried the Suns have a chance to come back?

I'm not. I'm usually pissed or down after a Spurs loss, but not right now.

Spurs are taking them in Game 5, who's with me?!!? :flag:

Odd thing about this series is that I'm more nervous with each win the Spurs get....... until 4 that is.

Having said that, I say Game 5 is a must win, or we're back at square one.

Not worried at all.

Game 5 is ours...

I'm sure some Suns fan will come on here talking about the 06 come back. Lets be serious though the Lakers then aren't as good as the Spurs now. The Suns now aren't as good as the Suns then.

no worry, not only has come back from 0-3 never been done, but the Suns are too gutless to pull it off.

Spurs need to replay Game3 on Tue night.

Kind of. But then again, I've been worried this entire series. Their focus should be a lot better in Game 5. The Spurs have proven themselves to be the better team this series already. The only thing they need to do now is win their fourth game of the series.

This is a three game series where SA has to only win one with two games in SA. I don't think Phoenix will win two playoff games in SA. Besides, where is the guarantee that Phoenix can win more that one home game against SA.

In the end, the Suns seven man rotation will kill them. They cannot bring it like today three more times in a row, or even one more time.

I am always a little worried because anything can happen but i am not going to get real upset until they lose game 5. Suns are still in a massive ditch here. Basically for them to win the series the big 3 have to go to sleep for 3 more games in a row.

I like how Van Gundy was saying "You don't like to see that kind of behavior in a loss but it's the Spurs so you give them a pass", i was like "damn right you do", that's Tim Friggin Duncan right there. HE can roll on the floor in laughter if he wants to he has won so much.

Tim was laughing. Tony seemed pretty amused at something. Even Manu, as much as he hates losing, was smiling there.

Oh ok. I actually just found some pix of the three of them seating on the bench. They do look rather calm.

I also saw some pix of the Suns players laughing...Shaq/Raja/Amare on the bench basically smiling and laughing...

Duncan, after the game:

"We didn’t expect to sweep these guys,” Duncan said. “We’re excited in the situation we’re in, up 3-1. We’ve got to win one more game, and we get to go home and try to win it there. Those are a lot of things that are in our favor.”

Exactly. No one was expecting for the Suns not to fight. They've got pride. No team wants to be swept.

I think in today's game, it is not so much that the Spurs didn't play well, it's more like the Suns were playing out of their minds.

Not try, will win, Tim, WILL win! :)

Some positive things about the loss.
I get to boo the heck out of the Suns for one more game.
And I get to be there in person to see them sulk off defeated.
Then the Suns will have to have that long losers plane ride home.

All in all, not so bad. :lol

The Spurs were in nice guy mode and letting Phoenix have a home win in the postseason, letting Nash have the opportunity to do a press conference, letting Shaq and Amare laugh and feel good on the bench...you know... throwing them a bone.
This series is so over tuesday night.

NoMoneyDown
04-28-2008, 08:47 AM
I'm only "worried" because it means one more game that a player can get injured and less time for the players to rest before round 2. I actually look for a similar score in G5, except the teams are reversed - Spurs will dominate most of the game and it will be over long before it's actually over.

Exactly. The Spurs did exactly what they were supposed to do. Lay an egg in one game in Phoenix. Keep those people believing. Phoenix has to sell season tickets next year too. Spurs just helped them out.
