Suns didn't just make mistakes...Spurs FORCED those mistakes. The stifling defense made Diaw throw the ball away and Bowen's incredible clutch defensive play made Nash throw the ball away.
Spurs know how to make up for their mistakes. Now Suns can have a nice plan ride home reflecting one their repeated failures :lmao
One thing is nice is we don't have see pictures of your STUPID RIVER WALK...how many times can they show that corny piece of crap LOL.
Texas is soooo stupid.

As much as I hated Hack a Shaq, it played well because Suns are so used to running it kept messing with there pre-shaq style of play. Kinda like me playing NBA2k online, I like to run non stop with the spurs but when I play my brother he pause everytime his phone rings/texts and it piss me off and throws me off.
Serious do you have a brain? That would be a no? If you knew you were stupid that would almost make you smart.

do you guys play the Hornets next?
Yep!
Hornets have home court advantage.
But Tony and Bruce can guard Chris Paul.
Tyson Chandler against Tim Duncan?
This has mismatch written all over it and I don't care about their regular season record against us either!

...At least your team will have plenty of time to check out the riverwalk.
They don't have any games for a while.

Suns (with the exception of Nash) are the biggest complainers. They are obviously tripping the players but they bitch and moan right after. Man up about the foul you committed, women!

Duncan is gonna have fun against NO. He doesn't have to be a jump shooter anymore. He can just have a nice time in the post scoring all day. Chandler can't hold him.
Bowen is going to molest CP3 all over the court to the point where CP3 will need therapy at the end of the series.

The Suns are much more of a better team, the Spurs as usual get the better calls and the lucky shots, but what do you want for a city known for nothing other than a stupid river walk...I peed in your river walk LOL!!!

Huge props to Tony and Tim and Kurt for this game!
And overall, this is an amazing showing by Tony for the series!
I'm a little sad that Manu isn't playing well at the moment. But I guess he did come up with clutch FTs...Still, he needs to pick it up for the next series.

I'm tired and relieved. I don't think the Spurs deserved that game any more than the Suns, and eventhough it ended 4-1, it was a much more difficult series than those numbers imply. I have nothing negative to say about the Suns today--they played hard as hell.

Nash complains quite a bit.
Yeah, during the game, he does complain a lot. But I think after the game, in his interviews, he always gives the Spurs the credit. (except for last year's playoffs...)

Spurs in 6 against NO. Chris Paul is good but the zone defense will slow him down. The real test is to see if anyone on NO can stop Duncan from having a field day in the post.

Tim just had his .04 revenge against Shaq after 3 yrs.
Shaq can retire now.
That was a close one! At times I felt we weren't moving the ball and doing more 1 on 1 and became a lottle stagnant. But fortunately we executed better and played smarter when the game was on the line. Phoenix once again didn't execute when they needed to. Many due to our D but some of the passes that Nash threw were low and difficult for a big like Amare to handle. And to get this win with Manu's lack of points is very fortunate. Come next series the Spurs are going to need more bench production than they got in this series.
Congrats to the Spurs and the well needed rest that they will get.

So ,was Manu hurt or was he in a funk? Didnt see the game until the end?
Oh, Oberto and Kurt cannot be our 3rd leading scorer if we want to beat NO.
What a great night...We can stop hearing about Shaq for another year and the Mavs get knocked out in the first round so we don't have to endure the unexplainable dozens of camera shots showing Cuban's reactions for another year, either. Perfect!
Here's hoping the Hornets fans who jump on here in Round 2 will show some class. Thanks to the one or two Suns posters who didn't embarass their city and themselves and were good sports. I've never badmouthed any trolls before, but Rhine1784, you're a real douche. Good riddance. :loser

Well the assistant coach just said that he's been playing really hurt the last two games and that they are glad to get this out of the way so he could really get some rest.

man although the spurs won I still think the refs sucked big time and the spurs got the shorter end of the stick all night. It was so ridiculous they had to blow some calls in their favor in the 4th quarter just to make it a little fair. I think 3 out of the 4 calls manu got were bs calls and that's probably a reason he was so off tonight.

Gotta give the Suns credit for their effort tonight. I thought the Spurs played stupid in some stretches that were going to cost them the game but Parker hit a couple big jumpers and Ginobli iced it at the ft line. I wasn't too impressed offensively with Duncan but man he was a force defensively.
Is Finley going to be involved offensively ever again? 3 shots tonight. WTF?

We just got home from the game and at the buzzer they showed a shot of Shaq and he looked very confused. It reminded me of a scene from "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"
Shaq looking confused....
Shaq: I lost...Wait a minute I am not supposed to lose
-pulls out contract
Shaq: Wait joey crawford! I am supposed to get another chance!
Thats all I got so far. GO SPURS GO!!!!!

Yeah what was up with that.
There was one instance where I think it was Amare who grabbed Manu by the hips and the refs didn't call that. I got frustrated over that one.
IMO if Parker doesn't make those two last jumpers we wouldn't had won that game. He was awful from the field.

Very lucky as usual, but again the town known for....nothing will not get the trophy this year. That would make history and the retard (duncan), pit stinker (parker), and the illegal alien (ginobli) can't do a thing about it. It's going to be LA/BOS in the finals. Go Hornets!!!
The only thing for sure is that the Suns will go down in history as the biggist choking playoff team ever, with the nuggets a close second. The Spurs own the Sons ass and your 9 for 20 million dollar man. Hope to meet you next year, if you make it. :lmao :lobt2: :toast
