Not literally those words. But the Hornets get no respect from so many fans and analysts around the country watching the playoffs. That's the point I was trying to make.

What a classless, outrageous effort at a "joke". Is that supposed to be funny? Do you have any idea how many of us lost our homes or even family members in Katrina (me personally, only the former but that's enough). What a sick, pitiful "fan" you are. The rest of you should be ashamed of him.

For the most part the moderators have been doing a good job getting rid of the Katrina jokes so it looks like a majority of the fans here do look down on this type of "smack".

Thanks for the comment. The truth is, it is not even a "joke". It is raw and hurtful. It changes the whole tenor of sports talk to something well beyond ugliness.
I can only assume that those who do post (or even think) Katrina-related comments simply do not understand what it was and what it did to so many of us. That in itself is depressing enough, since what we would hope by now is people around the country would have by now taken the time to understand what happened. SO back to sports. And try to keep your idiots down, would ya.

the hornets remind me a lot of the utah jazz last season, only with home court advantage. They are youn g and inexperienced, but honestly have the talent to go all the way.

But this isnt their year, not yet, just like Utah's year wasnt last year. Experience plays far too big a role in the playoffs and if anything, the spurs got that.

They win tonight and take this in 5, 6 max, but I honestly dont see it happening.

escape clause: if tim has a performance anything near game 1's, disregard this post :lol
