Anyone ever used them?

I met a guy up here in Greenville couple of years back.... His grandmother had a chicken farm and now he has about a million pounds of composted chicken shit.... I got about 150 pounds of it this morning.... Going to throw it in the garden....

But... want to know if anyone has used it before and if there are any concerns I should have....

The dried molassas... I bought 100 pounds of it... plan is to just broadcast it on the yard and garden areas and see what happens. My buddy swears by it... but would like another opinion....

War growing your own stuff!

I heard that if you grow your tomato plants in a circle around a big group of marijuana plants that it will make the tomato's taste extra nice!

Two words, Gopher:

Bob Webster

Dude knows everything there is to know about the two substances you mentioned, and plenty of others as well.

Shades Of Green nursery. I don't have the number handy but they're in the book.

Hey GopherGreenJeans, enough about the garden. What about a pre emergent for dollar weed and associated other vermin that come over into my Zoysia Jamur from the green belt behind my backyard?

Greenlight makes some good stuff.... but it is best to buy one for broadleaf and grasses... apply in February and September.... Don't look for any real results until after using this stuff for a couple of years....

Let me clarify.... you would buy two types... One for broadleaf (I think it is Portrait) and one for grasses (Amaze... or vice versa).

ASF.... I've had no luck with any organic pre-emergent.... The greenlight stuff seems to work.... if you use it twice a year, every year....

Hey.... ever tried decayed granite? I planted two Alamanda trees in pots with a 50/50 decayed granite-compost blend... They are doing well... The kicker is this: The Alamanda tree does not do well in the cold, you are supposed to bring them in when it hits below 40.... Mine have been out all year and are still alive! I swear it is the granite.... cause I lost one about 4 years back due to cold....

Peace
