Spurs geting love on Houston radio

AM 790, the Sports Animal here in Houston, was doing an interview with the guy from Dallas who does (did) the Avery Johnson Show (I believe his name was Mike Fisher?). Basically after all the AJ talk the local Houston guys asked him what his assessment of the Western Conference playoffs looked like.

His response, literally: Spurs. Until proven otherwise. Spurs.

Amazingly, the 790 guys agreed with him. I almost ran off the road from the shock. Or I was just sleepy from eating too much from the prime beef buffet lunch specials down on Richmond...

Mike Fisher knows as close to nothing about basketball as anyone who has ever gotten paid to know anything about basketball, so I wouldn't really be encouraged by his endorsement.
