he could have helped on wells and stojackovic...maybe even some fouls on cp3. btw, i've lost all respect for chris paul...he's a flopping egotistic showboating biatch. it's ok though...i didn't think it would be a sweep...this is one of the hornet's wins....they get MAYBE one more...maybe spurs win the next 4. i actually like them starting out on the road.

I was about to post a thread about Udoka...

WTF POP????

I have absolutely no idea why Udoka got buried on the Bench tonight. The way Oberto/Horry played tonight I have no idea how they are getting minutes ahead of Udoka. I know he loves his vets but give me a break. Finley didn't really tear it up in the first half either so I'm not sure how he got minutes ahead of Udoka then. At some point I think you have to try Udoka on West because even though he's smaller he can move his feet and has decent length to bother him on the perimeter. If they post up West then I'm much happier with that than when he faces up any of our other bigs.

I guess because Bowen was so hot in the first half Pop just forgot about Udoka. Shitty mistake imo.

Pop dropped the ball.
Udoka finally shook his playoff jitters in game 5 against the Suns.
He DEFINITELY COULD have played better defense than Finley did. Or at least saw some time on David West

West would tear Udoka up.....but West getting his pts is no different than Stoudemire getting his. It's the timely shots by Peja and Bonzi that killed us. Udoka is a tough defender and could have made a difference on them. Finley hit some shots but I'd trade those in because his D was horrible. TD's rotations weren't all that great either. It was just a bad 2nd half...they had a 20 min break between qtr 1 and 2 and then again between 2 and 3. That HAS to mess you up. Yeah I know the Hornets had to play through it also, but they weren't the ones that were HOT before the break. It could only HELP them. I don't know why Udoka didn't get in the game earlier though. I don't know that I'd think it's a bad idea to start him on Peja...just to give them a different look.

I would have liked to see if Udoka could guard Peja for a bit. Bowen can't guard both CP3 and Peja. And since nobody can guard West and he'll get his points, they really need someone to contain Peja.
