This is really going to be a tough series, the Spurs are not the Mavs they will not curl up and die. I dont blame you for feeling good after game 1, I know I do. But you cant count them out. Game 2 could be totally different. Duncan wont score 5 points again. The 3 rebounds may have been even more devastating. Wait and see. This will be a long series.

It may very well be a long series, but the Spurs won't win here. They won't even get close here. It doesn't matter if Duncan scores 5 or 35. They will lose by 10+ EVERY FREAKING TIME! When CP3 gets the ball moving the Spurs just can't keep up.

You must not know what a pure point guard does, he makes his whole team better. He sets the pace. Did anyone hear during Pop's press conference a reporter asked Pop how the crowd was or something like that? He made the reporter sound stupid for even asking the question and didn't even answer his question. It's so obvious this is a first New Orleans. You have to be really inexperienced to wonder if the crowd affects the Spurs.

I don't think it was Chris Paul or David West asking about the crowd. It's just some stupid reporter who failed to realize the attendance issue died months ago. Doesn't really have relevance to the team's ability to get past the inexperience.

Tell you what. A lot of us sat through two boring years of mediocre first round losers with a team populated by assholes like Baron Davis and Jamal Mashburn. Then we endured an excruciating 18 and 64 season while Scott, Bower and the rest of the organization began to rebuild. And, of course, there was the temporary relocation to the dusty plains of Oklahoma. Don't get me started on that one.
So, you'll forgive a little bit of exuberance on the part of the Hornets fans. If you don't, who gives a shit?

Sorry, Hornets fan. But this series isn't gonna end the way you think it is. Tim Duncan isn't gonna have another shit game like game 1. Coach Pop is the best in the league when it comes to making adjustments. This series ends in 6 games with the Spurs moving on to the conference finals and the Hornets going back to your toilet of a city.

Don't know much about NO situation, but I'm from the Oakland area and from his time with the Warriors, the only instance when he was a malcontent, was when he didn't play at all the last two games, because of Don Nelson's decision, which I'm not sure what happened.

Duncan had a bad game because he had his head up his arse the entire game. If anything Parker would be the one who would have probably had the most concern. It certainly didn't bother CP3 when he damn near broke Bowen's ankles for the series with that one move he put on him in the 4th. That was freakin vicious...
