:lol I'm actually just being annoying. I don't think the Spurs are going to go away that easily. It's only 2-0 with the Spurs coming back home and they can't play any worse than they did, and they have shown they can hang with the Hornets for one half at least.

I'm just annoyed by the effort and whining I saw from the defending champs in 2 straight playoff games. Hard to support a team that plays like that and complains to the refs like that. When Pop trotted out that lineup of Udoka, Horry, Vaughn, Oberto, and Barry in the 4th to "send a message" to his "stars" I found that to be laughable.

Spotting a new kid a few points is OK, but getting blown out twice by almost the identical score has me concerned. Losing by 2-3 points I can take, but not by almost 20 - twice. I'm not giving up on the Spurs, but they better win these next two or there will need to be some serious adjustments made during the summer or they'll be facing the same thing next year (maybe even worse).

I always knew this would be a great 7 game series.

I spotted my cousin 5 points in a game to 11 when he came to my house once. And then I put his ass on the ground the next time he tried to go to the hoop. He was already up 5-0 and he's trying to run up the score on my home court? Fuck him! He got what he deserved.

Wait, what were we talking about?

It's only 2-0 with the Spurs coming back home

LOL. Suns down 2-0, going home and every1 on here declaring the series over.

Spurs down 2-0 and coming home and every1 thinks the worm will turn.

Fans really are fickle.

And at least the Suns had been within 18 points at the final buzzer in the two games that put them into that hole.

True. It would be nice to actually finish within single digits if we're going to lose.

Uhh... The Suns fans were declaring how the Spurs would be blown out in gms 3 + 4 and the Suns would go on to win.

Aka, you're comparison is apples and oranges.

The fans aren't fickle, the situation is :p:

Except for those saying the Spurs can't win :ihit

I recall when the Spurs fans use to get all excited when we got a few playoff wins against teams like Portland, Utah, and Houston back in the day and then they'd come back and jack us up.

Fickle??? Hopeful is more appropriate.

This is a positive vibe thread. Trust me...being on the bad end of an 0-2 deficit with two blowout losses doesn't leave anyone brimming with confidence, but as a true fan you just have to Believe.

Yep, the Suns at least showed serious signs of being competitive...the Spurs are just laying down once the Hornets put some actual pressure on them. No adjustment is going to fix that...

It's called playing possum. The Spurs pretend to suck so the Horneys get their hopes up and then they crush them in 6. It's gonna happen!

I was really upset last night. I blew a lid and then some. Although I only posted a few times being subtle.

Today I feel like I knew I would. Let down. Not just for losing and going 0-2. But at Timmy, Tony, Manu and Pop. Finley too.

I realized by noon I didn't need to think about being old, or slow, or figured out. I know if I feel personally let down as a fan with the connection I have since being small in Tim alone, there has to be no telling what he feels. Understanding it is not all his fault it really came down to executing and doing what we have become powerful for however I am removed for another reason.

This Hornets squad is a good, young, spirited team. They did what they could do at best in the first halves of each game and we just did our thing but failed to hit shots to extend the lead. Game 2 was worse however both situations turned into the Hornets coming out with more energy and simply forced the issue in third quarters.

So I take what I have learned and seen and realize, this whole series is about one quarter. New Orleans executed, had a loud atmosphere, and got some home officiating that shows pure respect for the energy they have brought to the floor. But still, we are not going to fold over one quarter killing us.

San Antonio has had some bad luck. It happens to the best of them in any year. That is not a prelude to defeat. It is just missing shots, some calls and fouls here and there, and there is no big run. Those rims at New Orleans Arena are very tight, and each Arena is different in the league, sometimes a lot. But they were for both teams and that is no excuse for anything, I just hope our guys are not shooting it too soft come Thursday.

Other then that Ed, I'm with ya.
