That's right.

I can't imagine the Spurs playing that bad for the rest of the series.
They are the better team and we know it.
They can't keep playing that bad, they just can't...

And TD is super pissed now, even if it doesn't show (like in my sig).

If Pop makes the right defensive adjustments (TP on CP, KT on West, Bruce on Peja and Manu on Mo Pete), if he breaks Finley's legs and starts Manu, then....
We'll win the series in 6 - Book it :fro

You should check people's join dates. A lot of us have been here for years. Whether they were Title years or not. We're Spurs fans, win or lose. We believe in this team and we've seen plenty of people crash this board over the years. Only the good ones stay. The idiots disappear.

Seriously, props to New Orleans in a big way. They deserve all the credit in the world, especially if they close out this series to advance. I just don't think its gonna happen. Again, I'm the same guy who would've taken the Spurs and the line in Game 2, so what do I really know? But based on the little I do know about these teams, especially the Spurs, the stakes etc. I just think the Spurs can and will win this series.

Well, what I saw in games 1 & 2 :

- Hornets played really well

- Spurs played their worst games since games 3 & 4 of the 2005 Finals.

The result : blowouts

Difference is the Suns were always playing catchup w/ the Spurs.. They could never get a series lead.

Plus the Hornets are a much, much better team than the Suns, so you know what the Spurs are facing. CP is doing to Parker what Parker did to Nash.

Cockiness coming from both Spurs and Hornets fans in here. Let me make my prediction clear. Neither team will sweep the next 4 games(hornets would only need 2 of course). You guys bring up the finals against the Pistons. We're not the Pistons guys. On the other hand we are not the juggernaut Lakers. Neither series can really be compared to this one. Our goal will be to split in San Antonio and come home for game 5 to finish it. It's very possible that, that will come trure

It's funny because Hornets didn't win because they are better. Each time it was Spurs game to lose and their sloppy plays did them in. Spurs led by halftime both games and then their defense was unorganized coming into the 3rd, Hornets got a run and Spurs spent the rest of the game playing catch-up and not making the right adjustments.

However, during those 2 games, Popovich got the information he needed. Even with Spurs playing sub-optimal they still led into halftime, so all we have to do is play our usual 3rd quarter stifling defense and these games are ours. The people who say Hornets are better are simply looking at the end result and they pretty much know nothing about basketball especially since I believe most are bandwagon fans. There are a lot of bandwagon Spurs fans too.
