Just like Parker going off on the Lakers in Games 1 and 2 of the 2004 Semis and the Lakers started shutting down the lane from Game 3 on and winning four straight, time for the Spurs to close the lane and get ultra physical with Chris Paul and the Hornets. Its time for a major attitude adjustment. Time to get physical, time to get bloodthirsty.

I am all for it.

One side note: I think Paul is better than 2004 Parker.

I agree. But I liked how the nba.com writer's take was that Parker is entering superstardom and turning this series into a rout.

Yeah, I did look at the box score for that Game and I forgot the numbers Parker put up. 30 pts, 5 Ast, 3 ST! He definitely seemed unstoppable. Hopefully, the parallel can be drawn with this series and we have an answer for the Hornets and dominate from here on out.

I was thinking that. Too many teams have at least tied the series against the Spurs after the Spurs take a 2-0 lead, and the Lakers actually won 4 straight. It's our turn to do one of the latter :lol

Interesting fact: Including the 2003 playoffs, at least one team has come back from a two-game deficit (i.e either 2-0 or 3-1) to win the series. It happened in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and last year, 2007. Maybe the Spurs can continue the streak :)
