Is the woman rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Post your initial impression

Define clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Relative to what object?

clockwise

Clockwise. At first glance it looks like counter, but I brought up my clock (from the toolbar) next to it and suddenly changed directions. I don't know how in the hell it did that

It looks clockwise to me, but because that's the obvious choice, it's probably counterclockwise.

I don't see why it's an illusion, though.

and shouldn't she be passing out from dizziness by now?

I can see her nips

Evan

but when I look at her clockwise

weird

clockwise.

I'm curious what the correct answer is, as I have no clue how anyone could say counter-clockwise, but obviously some have.

I hate you...give me the effing answer

Shelly

How weird! If you stare at her reflection for a bit and then look at the silhouette, she then turns counter-clockwise

CuckingFunt

clockwise.

I see it both ways -- sometimes it's clockwise, sometimes it's counter.

How you see it is supposed to be an indication of whether you're a right brain thinker, or a left brain thinker. But, I don't remember which side controls which direction.

its supposed to be able to go in either direction

if i focus on a specific part (usually the shadow of the foot), i can make it change directions

I have no idea how you people think she's rotating clockwise, shes obviously going counter clockwise.

Some people see her rotating clockwise, others counter-clockwise. She's rotating in both directions.

I've seen this before. The direction you see her turning is dependent upon which part of your brain you're utilizing most at the time. Creative thinkers tend to see her go predominantly in one direction while analytical thinkers tend to see her go the other.

Unfortunately I can't remember which is which...she gives it to me both ways.

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

That doesn't seem like an illusion to me.

All the image does it change directions in animation at a certain point, so its both.

I would like to think I utilize both left and right brain thinking, since I use things in both of those catogeries.

:lol the image is CONSTANTLY rotating in both directions. Its doesn't switch from one to the other, your brain does.
