I wasn't going to post these, we don't do much sneaker conversation here. But as I studied them more carefully I discovered what they say on the sole.

The Shoe (Duncan's adidas Lightswitch)

The sole, and yes, I BELIEVE!

adidas.com has them, they want $100. But I found them for $79.99 on ESPNshop.com, and they had a better size selection. They also come in a different color combination, silver instead of the gray and Duncan's name in white instead of black.

Nice starting price, but no size choice. :(

Also, that shoe is the Lightspeed, not the Lightswitch. It looks like a heavier shoe than the one I have, personal preference.

I like them but would like them more if they had a black variety.

This is a Duncan shoe for which I would pay $100

My son would kill for those! That Ebay pair looks great too but a 13 might be a little tight on my kid. I was very impressed with a pair he got last year that listed all of Tim's trophies around the inside and his championsips on the outside. Those shoes rarely get worn, mostly sit on display on his shelf!

No, I wear them as street shoes. I've had a couple of Duncan's shoes over the years, I like the support the shoe gives me. And I prefer his adidas lines over his Nike ones.

i once was in a subway in DC wearing my spurs sleeveless training shirt and a lady came over to talk when i told her "nice kicks" she said those were the old Duncan Nike's... :married:

Duncan did not have the flu. He was the only human who's immune system was strong enough to kill the next wave of a super ebola virus strain.

Thanks to Tim Duncan. Humanity is safe for the next 50 years.

i'm probably the only person alive who prefers running sneakers to "hightop" style basketball sneakers (for playing basketball, if that wasnt explicit the first time).

they dont feel supportive to me at all.

i read an interesting article recently arguing that all shoes are "bad" for your gait and posture, and well the interesting part was they cited statistics done on runners and gymnasts that had the shoe wearing athletes getting many more injuries, especially to the knees and ankles.

anyways im not suggesting the NBA go barefoot, but it did make me wonder.

Then throw on your Duncan road uni and head to LA if we make it past these Hornets and you'd be geared up.

That article is interesting. I've got a back injury that's over a decade old, I find the support in the high tops to be the best for me. Anything else makes me hurt more. Maybe it's just personal preference, the way your body responds to what shoe you're wearing and for what activities you're doing.

I am not as big of a fan of these shoes as I am his older ones. And even a few years ago when it was time to get new ball shoes (I only wear for the court) I had to pass on TD and get KG ones when he was with Nike. (or is still i dunno)

I actually heard this on the radio last summer sometime. However I disagree that wearing shoes is worse than not, :lol that's all

I HAVE to wear high tops. Mid depending on the back support on my heel. I have weak ankles and have had several sprains and such so for me, tape, mid cut sock, low cut sock on top hidden under the shoe, high tops, laced tight.

Then I can jump and push and cut as hard as I want.
