View Full Version : Oberto and Thomas v. David West
David West lost confidence in his jump shot tonight. You could see him either hesitate or turn down jump shots after the first part of the first quarter.
When he put it on the floor, he tried throwing junk at KT and Fab, and except for a play here or there, neither man bought any of it.
Props and continued success to our defensive bigs. :toast

He did have a couple of shots that went in and out. That must've been frustrating..
Hornets finally feeling what it's like to have to play uphill.
Spurs have been in that boat before. We apparently have learned how to buckle it down.
Now, can New Orleans?

They've done a good job on him. He'll have a better game in Game 5, our bigs just need to continue to make him work.

Props to Fab, Kurt and the defensive staff... West really looked frustrated tonight, he even shoved Fab a couple of times.
Go Spurs Go!!!

Oberto got himself in West's head and Pop made some good calls to attack West with doubles just enough to make him weary of them. IMO that is the weak link to attack the Hornets. West seems like a mental midget who can be taken out of his game with a good mix of defense and physicality.

Yes, it appears that they finally figured out whenever he fakes to the right that he's going to spin back over his left shoulder to shoot. That takes away half his game.

I love when Oberto plays like he has some balls..
I've loved the Thomas addition since we first got him..he's played very well so far in the post-season, and hopefully it continues..

I agree. Good job, Kurt and Fab. I espicially enjoy Fabricio getting under the skin of David West...
