That's weak. It works for soft ass teams like the Mavs or Suns but not for NOH.

Much as you hate PP, he's got an excellent point here.

The Spurs really, really need to win Game 5 in NOH, then close it out at home.

If not... look forward to a dogfight in Game 6, then a real doozy of a Game 7, which could go either way.

They don't look soft to me. Just too young and too cocky. Everyone says they have youth on their side but that also works against them. They let the spurs up off the mat. That's inexperience.

I'm thinking a bee wearing a diaper, a dozen gold chains, and suckin on a gold pacifier would be more fitting.

Right, cause the Spurs didn't lose by 18 in game 1 and 19 in game 2 right? This is the best series in the playoffs so far.

Which would mean it's tied.... which would make it a candidate for best playoff series so far.

Where's the argument again?

That was probably the worst thing that could have happened to your young team since they are prone to being overly confident. I was happy to see them laughing and acting cocky in the 4th of game 2. They actually believed they were that much better than the spurs so they relaxed. Now they're fucked, try again next year. Spurs won't make the mistake of relaxing.

Actually, if you didn't realize, the series is tied 2-2. Try again next year? Why not try again, um, tomorrow?

Except that hasn't happened yet, so you should probably reserve any statements about winning until you actually have a lead in the series.

You're right on that point. They did get cocky, and too confident in themselves. I think the two losses in SA are just what they needed actually. All I hear from journalists and analysts is that the Hornets are done for, and to be qquite honest, that's what I want to hear. That's what they've heard all season, and all through the playoffs. They play better as the underdog, and with a chip on their shoulder. I expect a great game tonight. If the Hornets do win, I might be a little afraid if I were a Spurs fan.

I agree with most of that, with one caveat. This is going to be, to date, the biggest game of the young Hornets lives.

How will they handle it? That is what will make this game either one of the best of the series or one of the worst.

Tim Duncan was very ill. The Spurs led both games at the half and imploded in the fourth. In Game 2 they were within striking distance still midway through the 4th. The Hornets hung close in Game 3 until early in the 4th. Its been a great series, but I like San Antonio's momentum after that Game 4 ass kicking, which could've been far worse had benches not been emptied. Its still up for grabs, but I think the Spurs have clearly got the momentum and this teams has won many huge road playoff games the past years.
